Halo Friends,

Please can any one help me to add my details in the excel sheet

I filed my application on 20th April 2012.I have send it by registered post CPC-Mississuaga will receive the same by Monday evening Lastest.

CAn anyone tel me what wil the next step now will CPC inform me about receipt of Documents

Congrats, you're an official applicant now! I remember how happy and relieved I was to put my own application in the mail after weeks of slaving away at it and endlessly re-organizing and revising.

Some people get an AOR from CPC-M but many don't. So the first communication could arrive only when you (or your wife?) gets sponsorship approval. Best of luck to you!

P.S Year 2011 CHC ND has issued only 4118 Visas and 771 applications rejected (Spouses/Children) !

I SPOKE TO MY MP'S REPRESENTATIVE AND HE SAID OUR FILE IS QUITE NEW .JUST CAME TO KNOW,THERE WILL BE INTERVIEW IN JUNE 2012(NO EXACT DATE) AND SOME ELIGIBILITY CHECK ON MY WIFE IN INDIA IS GOING ON SO FAR.EVEN HE WAS NOT FULLY CONFIDENT ABOUT THIS ELIGIBILITY CHECK?.....

I DON'T KNOW HOW THEY GOT THIS INFORMATION BECAUSE WHEN I CALLED AT OFFICE IT WAS 10:00 AM IN MORNING AND 7:30PM CORRESPONDING TIME IN INDIA(I GUESS ND VISA OFFICE CLOSE MUCH EARLY THAN 7:30PM).

DO ANY ONE KNOW WHAT THIS ELIGIBILITY CHECK IS?

Hi Sumant, 'QUITE NEW'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! REALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyways, at least your lucky you have feedback. Now that you have dialogue open with your MP, why don't go try talking one more time in person. Sympathy talking and requesting the MP if he can do anything to speed up your case. "spouse not had passport for over 4 months", "our parents were anyways against the marriage so this is all just too much pressure on her/him", "on humanitarian grounds", etc.

I don't know just saying. Or at least see if he can forward your additional proof to ND and request them waive the interview...I don't know going on a limb...let us know what happens please

Apparently New Delhi sounds like it's backed up and the timeline listed online is inaccurate according to what I've heard. Why is it that when we all decide to apply for our spouses it slows right down?? This is tough, tougher for our spouses whom are waiting...I am wishing my husband receives his VISA soon along with us all who've been waiting wayyy too long!

Atleast something is going on with my file in ND...Thnk god

Yes Buddy,

The sole reason of delay in my case file is three things i.e worked at different overseas stations on deputation (Govt contract) more than 6 months, different places in India & 3rdly served with Defence.

2) When they asked you for additional information - what did they ask for?

Documents related with my service.

When did ND received ur Passport?

according to the postal records the ND received on March 30th

So far only one notification from ND has been sent by email which is PP request and nothing after that

On the applicant Ecase its showing

We received your application for permanent residence on January 11, 2012.

Medical results have been received.
