i just hope, the status of Visas being issued is updated here by all the members... i was just trying to check the last post by Yug, who hasn't heard from CHC in last 210 days... last update by him,is in Nov 2011! i am hoping he and many like him have received their visas long ago.. just that they haven't updated their status on the forum??

I did a small analysis today...with the data available at hand...

Total Number of ppl in excel so far = 74
Number of DMs = 32
Number of DMs after 6 months in ND = 2
Number of ppl who doesnt have DM yet but gone past 6 months in ND = 9

So assuming that the 9 ppl will eventually get their DM in future, total number of DMs = 41
Out of which DMs within 6 months in ND = 30

30/41 = 73.17 %

So 73% of the ppl get DM within 6 months approx based on our excel.

my husband sent is ppr on friday. will they said a letter of recieve to him? i think his 1 and half year travel history (working holiday visa UK) is going to be a major delay in our case.

Hi kiwinijjar,

I doubt that ND VO is going to send the passport received email.

I think they are just going to update the e-cas, if that.

Lol no updates its too early to get updates since it went to inprocess two days before.

I'll let you know for sure if i hear anything from CIC...

does your sponsored person has travel history? what is ur current status shows?

Just wanted to share the good news. We just received the email from New Delhi VO to submit the passport. Hopefully we will get the visa soon as well.

Great news! It's wonderful that many of the recent applicants are posting their updates here; it's so useful in understanding timelines and next steps.

So you and I got our sponsorship decision on the same day but sadly no PPR on the same day ... maybe it's on the way though! All the best to you.

Yes, her husband got his visa in under 3 months, wow. She mentioned once that he'd worked in Canada for 4 years so perhaps that was in his favour.

Hey guys,

Update: Since I wasn't getting the call from my MP, I decided to go to her office yesterday evening. I met with the PA of the MP and after explaining to her why i was at the MP's office, she went inside and brought some paper and then started to tell me this.

"We have rec'd an update from ND VO on Tuesday and just about 2 hrs back we got another one. (Looking into the paper in her hands) Everything looks quite good...Security, Background and Criminality checks are done and no problems with them. Medicals were rec'd and they're still valid until Dec, 2012. The Next Bring Forward Date (BFD) is on Apr 25th, 2012. So by next week you should be hearing some positive news"

She didn't give me that paper though. This news made me feel better. Hoping what she said is into action next week.

Thats the update for now. Hoping each one of you get some updates on your files.

Yep, KSunny and Macadameia got their visas very quickly, and it's also because ND was reaching the end of their quarter. Now they have started a new quarter.

I've been on the forum for a very very long time, and usually after a week of changing tO "In Process" decision was made. BUT all those cases got their status changed to "InProcess" later on in the case, rather than right after the Passport request.
My status changed to In Process 9 days after they received my passport.
So far it's been 3 weeks for me and 4 weeks for Srinivas.
