Hi All,

I am currently living outside India and need to send my passport to ND. Is the following address the one where I should mail the passport.

The Immigration Section,
High Commission of Canada,
7/8 Shantipath, Chanakyapuri PO Box 5209,
New Delhi 110021, India

Also currently my mailing address is out of India. But ND embassy doesn't accept addresses outside of India to mail the passport. How can I specify the address where my passport should be mailed back? Should I send a letter with updated address along with my passport or is there a way to do it online?

Thanks

Yes, that's the address. Just include a letter with your Immigration number at the top, saying that this us

Is the address in India they can send the passport back to.

What's your timeline?

Hi All,
Can you guys recommend a place to stay in ND, when my wife goes for the interview.

Would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Good luck for her interview! I'm not sire if these are repeated questions but- when is her interview? And do you know what the reason may be why she has the interview?

Hey guys, guess what?? An update from my side. It finally says "Medical Results have been Recieved"

Babaji, universe- please give me my visa this month!!!! Or while my husband is here visiting me.

I want to be in Canada before our one year wedding anniversary, which is in July!

General question:
If a person has no Travel History and Passport has been sent to ND and it has been 3 weeks already, how long this process takes? again no travel history. please assist

Hey congrats...Wish you cross the finish line pretty soon.

Friends...If you remember last week I posted saying I sent an email to my MP and then she responded saying she will get back to me blah blah blah...

I just got an email from her saying this.

"Hi Srinivas,

Please send your telephone number so we can call you and provide an update regarding your case.

Thank you."

I am chewing off all my nails now awaiting her call. Hopefully it would not be something that disturbs me...Please pray...

Thanks buddy! Does your wife's say "medicals received" yet? It will display it when you click on "In Process"

Let us now what that response is from the MP! At least you heard from them, so keep positive :)

Wait a minute.... Yours went to "In Process" before them getting your passport?? :o That is unusual.

Anyway, like I said- just type out a letter saying that "Since my address is outside of India- To mail the passport back, please use this address (put in the India address). And then put your full name down, along with your sponsor's full name and then put in your Immigration # and the UCI#, so that if for some reason the paper gets separated from the passport, they will know who the address belongs to, and what it is for.

I will posting my Interview Details shortly, so that it will help others who will be attending Interview next.

Thank you guys one again!!

Good to know that you have been approved....and I hope you get the visa in the mail in two weeks after sending in the stuff, just like he promised :)

Please post the details!! Like what kind of questions were asked? and why were you called in for an interview? and what did the lawyer mis-write??
Another question, was your interviewer a gora or Indian?? I've always wondered this.
