Thanks for all this info. I've tried all these avenues, but no luck i just feel so helpless.. waiting since June. no interview, no request for addittional info. they asked for the pasporrt and just sitting on it. I'm trying my best to stay positive and wait...

what does your e-cas say, 'application received' or 'in process'?

its my wife who will be landing ...

16 is a probable date..may be an earlier weekend 10th march..will be decided soon

it will take at least a week for a passport to arrive and she needs to give a notice period of 15 days before she can resign from a job so it will be end of this month.. And then she wants to spend a week with her parents before she comes here..

I did not know that "in process" to 'DM" will happen so fast..or else I would have asked her to give a notice of resignation 15 days before.

Recently a phenomenon started happening in ND...

You wait for like 40+ days after PPR and suddenly you get In Process and within short time you get DM.

This started happening from mapledreams and now kannadiga and ajy457 are also part of this.

So I take the liberty of naming this phenomenon as "maple magic".

Who is gonna be the next victim of Maple Magic

Given that newdelhi2011 has already waited for 68 days now from PPR, he doesnt exactly fit in the Maple Magic criteria if he gets DM within a week or two.

So balibali and siva are the potential winners of next Maple draw, and ofcourse balibali is a strong contender as he got In Process already !!!

Contact your MP...it does help.. and follow up with them if you already have contacted the MP office. They follow up your case with ND office on monthly bases after their initial contact with ND.

I contacted the MP and ND said it is in background checks since Dec. it's been 3 months now and no news. i don't know what kind of bc checks they do that takes so long...

I don't feel so lucky. My wife has a travel history so i hoping to hear something in early march.
