Hey guys, also factor in that- It's taking longer for Mississauga to send files over to ND now, than just a few months ago, so that gives ND to work on files a little quicker, because there is now more of a gap, get it?

whatever time ND gained must have been adjusted by now ... think about it.

I have been closely following mapledreams since she applied exactly one month before me. And also Ajay and Siva as we are having the same timelines.

Just a thought :

Looking at mapledreams timeline:

PPR : Dec 5, 2011
Ecas Update : Jan 19, 2012 (Medicals Received)
DM : Jan 22, 2012 (We started processing your application on January 19, 2012.)

It looks like Once CHC- New Delhi sends a PPR they keep BFD which is 45 days ahead from the date of PPR sent. So she got her PPR on Dec 5, 2011. And 45 days ahead that is Jan 19, 2012 her file was re-opened and was started processing at VO. I believe it was a straight forward case and hence interview was waived and a decision was made(To issue VISA) in just 3 days.

So hoping to receive my Visa in a month from now. ;D

And also pray that all of us get the visa soon. Insha Allah!!!

That's very good observation kannadiga. I really hope it works for us too. My case is also probably not straight forward. I was transferred to the US and was working there on an H1B visa when I went to India and got married. My wife joined me in the US after 3 months by securing a H4 dependent visa and we lived together in the US for 11 months before returning back to Canada. My wife got a visitors visa and stayed in Canada for a month and returned back to India and I filed for her PR papers after that. So I'm not sure how straight forward my case is. Lets hope CIC ND deems this atleast as a normal case and we get approval in the 6 month time period.

I don't mean to be rude but how did he violate his PR? The rule is minimum 2 year stay for every 5 year period. So you left Canada for that long? There is no requirement you have to.stay minimum for 2 years consecutively when you first get here.

Yes, his PR did expire because he left for india after one year and did not stay for the minimum two year required. Actually we both had to convince our parents to get us married, and it could only be done face to face...so we did what we thought was right at that time...obviously we are regreting the decision now..!!
