Jatt_punjabi,

It looks just like mine and may others who applied recently in last 3-5 months. We are waiting for next step in eCAS update which will hopefully show "in process". Usually, after CPC-M sends file to ND, you would get a PPR within 1-2 months. It may not be the case for all but that's what I have been seeing in most of the cases. You should keep an eye on principal applicant's email/mail.
Thanx NewDelhi
have u got PPR by email or post?

@ newdelhi2011, hambzik, kuku, and everybody else

Do you think my hubby's ecas has not been updated with "medicals received" because he had two of them done? Cos he did the first one when I was there, after we got married and then he lost his passport so we waited for his new passport and my lawyer advised us to do another medical based on the new passport..so there's 2 for him...do you think that might be the reason??

Just thinking ???

@ JP,

Through email.

@MD.

It's hard to say since it's a unique case but as we have seen in many cases here, ND updates medical received during/after in-process too.

Hey guys,

Quick question so in the PR application status what are the updates on would see : like for example "Application received", "Decision made" is there anything inbetween them?

In some cases, you may also see, "In Process"

@Mapledream,

I don't think so. Though they would have got the 2 medicals, the VO will take only the one which has the corresponding PP number. I believe in the medicals form, you will be writing the PP number. Hope this helps.

Atlanta is 15 hrs drive and im not venturing with my little 1 mth old tillher immunizations are done. He can't come as he doesnt have visitors visa and lawyer had advised not to get one after we had submitted the applicaiton.

Hello everyone,

kindly help me in understanding the following ECAS status for PR:

Permanent Residence
We received your application for permanent residence on October 3, 2011.

Medical results have been received

No IN PROCESS yet.

This means the VO has received your application but not yet started the processing. In some cases, even after starting the process also, the e-cas may NOT be updated to "In Process". There is nothing to worry. Everything seems to be normal in your case.

OMG.. You are Garcia :o We will leave computer stuff to you then :)
I personally think that eCAS is somehow connected to their internal database. So officer who is working can make notes in their database and he can change the state on eCAS from same system. Thus, it shows address glitch everytime some is writing notes in our file. I think this glitch of address disappear/reappear is file specific and not a general maintenance thing.
God bless software engineer who programmed it. :P

Here is my personal views:

I dont think its a glitch. I believe they remove your option to change the address at the time your file is open by VO. They might send you request for documents or PP. If you change the address at this time, the VO may have not seen the new address.

Once the VO is done with file and close it with new BFD, you again get the address and option to change it. Now, if the address change is requested by applicant, this raises a flag and the file is immediately sent to VO or someone to change the address and do whatever need to be done.

I strongly belive this is the reason why the address appears and disappears whenever you see notes on file or someone have your file open at CHC.

Very well said Hambzik.

@ Newdelhi2011

Hambzik = Hotch (Criminal Minds) ;)
