Aman, why can't you just go to their ND office with your reciept? Are you guys allowed to go there in person to make enquiries like this? If they aren't replying back to your emails, fax, phone calls, why not just go there personally? If not then, keep calling until you get someone to help you.

I have started packing booked flight with BA on 3rd October (coming monday) ND to YVR...
Any suggestions to pre prepare for landing other than B4,B4A and marriage cert...

ND doesnt process landing fee.... CPC-M has to confirm with ND that they received her fee... ND won't accept receipts like this in person.....

Also you can never get them on phone its just automated service for immigartion section...

And its pain the Ars visitting ND... Sometimes you get your answers sometimes won't.

when i landed they never asked for B4 and B4A but yes verbally they asked everything.
but be prepared for that if they ask for B4 and B4A forms

when officer gonna open that courier, i mean they open it on the same day or wat?????

i think applying from ND is a better option as it has a processing time of 6 months and usually they do finalize applications within that time period. and i would suggest that you hire a good consultant, specailly who is known is ur city for immigration needs. the reason i say this is cause the filling up the forms can be tricky. and ur file will be approved based on your forms. even i paid 1000 $ for that. u can do it yourself but its better u get a pro to do it. and plz ask thm to file a interview waiver for u .

Hi there,

If you have a complicated case then it is advisable to hire a consultant. Complications include previous marriage/s, child custodies, criminal records, huge age gap, different religions, deportation/exclusion orders etc, all of which are seen as red flags by the VO. But if your's is a straightforward case, then a consultant is definitely a waste of money. Spend a lot of time on forums like these gathering information, read the cic guides throughly and you will be able to file a successful application all by yourself. My suggestion - do not waste time on a consultant if you do not have a complicated case.

But then again, hiring a consultant is a personal choice. If you do decide to hire one, please check out their credibility & that they are certified by the Canadian Society of Immigration Consultants (CSIC). There are many people ripped off by incompetent consultants and fraudulent ones who charge a lot of money for something that is possible to accomplish by an individual. Do your research.
