Thank you for the information, Jasvarun.jasvarun said:New Delhi doesn't issue PR cards. once you have sent you paperwork to CPC - Mississauga. It will take about 40 working days to process your sponsorship application(changes from time to time check CIC website for current processing times). Then CPC -Mississauga will forward your file to New Delhi (Generally takes around 2 weeks from date of approval). Then New Delhi will process your application and issue you immigrant visa (This process normally takes anywhere between 3 to 6 months depending on one's application complexities)
Once you land in Canada, then you fill out PR Card application form at immigration counter. Then they will mail out PR card to your Canadian mailing address you filled in the form.

So guys, to share my situation, I'm living in the US, but having to apply through the New Delhi visa office. I gotrepresentative to help me with this process. How is the staff over there? I hope they process the applications in a timely manner, and not slack off. There's many of us on the same boat, waiting to be in Canada with our spouse and start our married lives already.
Thank you for the helpful advice. I'm hoping that my case would be straight on and easy.gwalyat said:just a small advice 4 u pay the full fee at 1 time to cpc missisuaga including rprf which is 1040 cad. it will help u alot n abt new delhi its ur luck if ur case goes normal then u can have visa in hand in just 3-4 month after file reach delhi.....good luck

For you application, what have you guys provided to support that your marriage and relationship to your spouse is legit? Did you guys include anything else other than pictures, emails, phone bills? I included lots and lots of pictures and about 200 pages of phone bills and lots of emails- (at least two for each month), I'm also thinking that I should send in receipts from my wedding, such as from my wedding vendors-
, like from photographer, banquet hall, etc- do you guys think that's neccessary?
dont wry dear.harry_canada said:no updates still..i thought something might happen today as its tuesday but another disappointing day :-[
