I've included phone longs from like June 2010 --- lots of things.. I will make a TOC and how I Sent mine.. and will share here when I get some free time for that.

Looking at all your documents i am impressed, i guess i was a lazy a$$
all i sent was

30-40 pics ( total) of dating, eng, marriage, honeymoon & a few emails
wedding card
honeymoon hotel receipts, flight tickets
Phone bills - 5 months
that's it...now i am thinking if i should have sent more

will they update on the sponsors client id..;if they sent a letter in the mail for the PR applicagtion...like for a PPR OR ANYTHING OR WILL IT JUST SAY APPLICATION RECIEVED FOREVER?
UNTIL WE GET A FILE NUMBER TO LOOK AT IT THROUGHT THE APPLICANTS......

Great news everyone!!! We got the PPR. I was just woken up by the phone call from my wife, oh and it feels so good

The letter is dated Apr 12, which she just received. I bet they started working on the file after the first CSE I sent on Apr 1st. Although they didn't respond to me enquiry, they searched and found the file (oh what a relief).

However, they have asked for a couple other things along with the passport though, which doesn't make sense to me:
- Proof of Canadian residence of Sponsor
- Info on When, Where and from which Doctor was the medicals done

Why would they ask for these? My passport, employment verification letter and Option C printout that were sent to them all show I reside in Canada and we included the original medical examination receipt that was signed by the doctor with the application package as well. I'm confused. Anyone had ND ask for these from them?

Are you guys checking with the client ID you got with the sponser approval or do you have any other numbers to check?

I sponsored for my wife and i am check ecas with the client ID number i got with the sponser approval which i received from mississauga. We sent her passport already after PPR and there is no updates after that. I am just wondering i should keep checking with my client ID or she should have an ID to check?

congrats for the ppr


well...whatever they have asked for.....send them....doesnt matter if u have submitted it before or not....but send them cuz chc nd is asking for it....and u know if u dont send it and just explain it that u have submitted it previously....they will take forever to find those documents....


so i would siggest that rather than explaing anything in the letter.....send them the proof so that they can issue the visa ASAP....

send them a DL xerox or anyother Govt ID with your address on it.
Or any lease papers, paystubs etc..

No idea what the 2nd request is for, just do it cos they asked so...

When you got your PPR you would have got your file #.

I remember we had a discussion on this topic in few pages back, I remember Client ID and Receipt # gives same infor (for sponsor)
and File # is where you get the info for Sponsored Person (Applicant) just wondering?

Indeed this is great news, like I said I wake up first thing I do, pray, shower, and get to work.. check CV and see all the good news, and a big smile comes on my face when I see the movement of ND.

Keep it up ND... and do send them everything you've got from the DMP, I'm sure they must have given you receipt for the Medical Fees you must have paid, I do have it in my case, but I never sent that to them, but if they ask I will make sure I keep a scanned copy as well so incase of LOST.

Also send them everything for the proof of Canadian (health card, drivers license, passport copy, even if you've done your recent TAX for the year 2010 send them the letter of assesment if you've already received it back) Send even pictures of you being in Canada somewhere... this is just a suggesion there could be lots of other things you can send.

There is no STANDARD when it comes to what we can see on eCAS, they never follow it correctly for everyone.

I just check it everyday with the Receipt #, and I think its sufficient for me, but I do wanna see the difference when we check it with the file #, but I'm still waiting for the PPR to come in so I can get that file # out.
