Could you please tell me when did they ask u for additional docs.....did they ask for passport first and the later additional docs or at the same time...thanks...........

Pandas case got solved in 80 days and he got visa after 10 days from the date when he send passport........

though every case is different and time line ..... I would like to fall in that time line .................

Challenger i hope that we receive our passport by april 30 at the most ..that will compleate 80 days ........but in some cases it is as fast as 69 days so then our shiny visa should be with us by .......april 17th 2011..wow....... ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

After reading nylalisa's reply, looks to me like the file does go to ottawa and then ND.
One thing which makes me a bit comfy is that she told that they need a file to create a file number and i received a file number last week, so i hope at least ND received the file from Ottawa last week.
So my dilemma is do i contact CPC Miss and ask them if the file has reached delhi or just leave it?

CPC M wont know anythong. Once its transfers anywhere, its out of their hand. Give it a few more days and see if you hear something. We got out first letter abt 2 weeks after it was received in ND. It was dated for a week after it was received.

i hope what u r saying become true for all of us. is first flight will be alright to send passport?

wait for a week as they created before a week and then contact New delhi instead of CIC-M. CIC-M will say same thing your file has been transferred which they already told you when you called. I am sure you will hear soon and from now onward you will get visa without delay

True..u only get more confused trying to figure out this system! It doesn't look like there is any consistancy...some people's application go from 'App Recvd' to 'Decision made' while some say 'In process' whereas they don't even get a PPR...! So..yes..I'm not going to trust ECAS...! I'm just trying to follow others time lines to get some sort of an idea...! let it happen when it happens...if not you just go crazy thinking abt this!!!

yea....i am tracking the case for my cousin sister....she got the ppr request on feb 25 and additional docs letter on feb 28....chc nd received one package on mar 14, both pp and additional docs



yea, 2 letters came out separately in mail and now it is just a waiting game
