I dint get good deals with jet airways as am travelling today weekend.. going by air india .. chennai - delhi - toronto.

Once thing start happening, it will happen very quickly. It won't be much
longer now.

No update for us.

We'll have the divorce papers sent this week, so hopefully things will be
settled in a few weeks, unless they call my wife for an interview.

I have seen it change on anyday..fri/sat/sun is where all my updates happened.
Many users have also mentioned it does change on weekends.

e-cas does change on weekends.....anyday is possible

but this week it did not bring anything for many

ND's target for spousal & dependent children is 5000 visa this year and in this way ND has to issue at least 20 visas everyday in this class. ND seems damn slow...how will they acheive their target...I doubt......ND is not taking taxpayer as well as applicant's money seriously..........so sad

The way it is now, the PRFP and the application fee is supposed
to cover 100% the cost of all processing. I remember some
people filing a lawsuit because the fees were much higher then
the cost of processing.

So at $30/hr they should spend on average

Missasauga $75 - maybe 2 hours processing on average
Application and RPRF fees - $965 - 32 hours - or 4 days work

Of course with number of applications received - there is a waiting list.
Missisauga - my experience - 27 days waiting for processing - and then
processed in 1 day.

Delhi - My feeling they process things in stages and between each stage
there is a waiting period as things get shuffled from one department to
the next.

I wonder how long it takes to due a security check - this is for the
possibilities of terrorism. Think the war on terror.

The question I hated the most was the personal history. We had
to work out what my wife did for the last 15 years.

AND IN BIG BLACK LETTERS - ANY BLANK PERIODS MAY
RESULT IN LENGTHY PROCESSING DELAYS.

So I ask my wife what you did May 1999, she answers I don't know.
Even for me I would have a hard time answering that question.

Ya the rite of PR fee use to be around $900 or close to $950, can you imagine duh...good they reduced it

Thanks for all the support and guidance, I applied for my infant son's Permanent Residence

Time Lines are as follows:

CPC Application; 20January 2011
CPC Approved Sponsorship:25th February 2011
File transferred; 8th March 2011
Letter from CHC, New delhi requesting passport dated 16th March 2011 received 26th March 2011.
My family in India will post the Passport tomorrow first thing in the morning IST

Please advice the timelines from now.

For all those who are waiting to hear from CHC, keep the faith and my best wishes to all and a Big thanks
