I have seen it change on anyday..fri/sat/sun is where all my updates happened.
Many users have also mentioned it does change on weekends.

Yes Prince, as you said - status are changed on weekend also.
I checked around 11 pm EST before going to bed on saturday and found no change,
But yesterday , ie. on sunday while checking ecase I found status was changed...around 11:30 pm est.

Finally...................My e-cas got updated under PR Application status stating that

"We received null ********** application for permanent residence on March 22, 2011".

DrDave, you might have a point here..maybe they dig into the arranged marriage scenario a lot..cos usually we have less time to get to know and get married..

i agree with you but given the situation is that a boy/girl goes from aborad to get married in India or anywhere else....they have few days to spend with their spouse after marriage. reason being is that they have to return back and join their work....



another reason also is that they have to prepare the papers and send it to IMM for processing....


i have read it on other blog is that CIC raise their eyebrows sometimes if the paper work or the spouse is filed late....they ask several questions like: what is the reason? what happened etc?

so it is very hard to judge with these guys....

e-cas does change on weekends.....anyday is possible

but this week it did not bring anything for many

ND's target for spousal & dependent children is 5000 visa this year and in this way ND has to issue at least 20 visas everyday in this class. ND seems damn slow...how will they acheive their target...I doubt......ND is not taking taxpayer as well as applicant's money seriously..........so sad
