Applicants of Oct/Nov were processed very slow. Dec/Jan is moving at good pace - Panda and Goodnews both were in 80 days timeframe. N

Thanks everyone for the well wishes. I will post my experience here after I have the interview on the 30th. If anything it will help future forum members.

Waitingforwife, I am sure they have yours in queue and ready to get it done. It seems they are flying through the October, November files now.

BTW, where is SANYROG, I have seen some post from them on the other threads but nothing here.

My Wife's status also says "Decision Made" .... We never had no phone calls, or extra documents needed etc... Straight forward case...

How long does it take to receive the passport ?

I am waiting for my visa very eagerly....But I am in pondicherry, a Union Territory near to chennai..So, I have to wait for some more days to receive it...

My wife got the Passport back today.. Good stuff India Post works on saturdays hehe.

It seems there was a delay in updating the ECAS. I saw the status change to Decision Made yesterday but passport was mailed on 7th Mar. She is in Punjab so took few days to reach. It is probably going to be same for you Nisha. You got status update on ECAS yesterday they p[robably have posted the passport already

Please can someone share thier experiences with respect to a family class sponsorship for a child who is 1.5 years (Time line and the process once the sponsorship has been approved), My sponsorship has been approved on the 25th Feb 2011, but there is no update on the system, please advice.

My assumption is it takes 15 days to reach TN..can you please let me know your experience..

Yes, November was very slow..i applied one week after you...still no PPR..hopefully something happens this week..

I got the PPR through the ordinary post dated 17th december 2010 and I got it on 27th december 2010, and also they requested for additional documents, proof of relationship after the marriage, that is phone bills and e-mails dated 22nd december 2010 and I received those documents on January 3, 2011.

Usually it is in a Registered post, and yes it can take 5-8 days for chennai...
