which barcode stickers are u talking about kal1313..............i didnt got anything lik this there was only a letter in that envelope

hmm that is really strange unless they forgot to send those bar code labels with your ppr letter , coz otherwise it is a standard procedure as far as I know to send them with the ppr letter , as they just scan those bar codes to expedite the application instead of reading all the paperwork maybe you should write a letter along with your passport explaining you never got those stickers or you can do a case inquiry and ask them if they can send you some , are you able to post ur ppr letter leaving all names removed just want to see if its the same generic ppr letter we all get .

i am getting worried may be they hav changed the standard letter or its the case with me only
Do not get too worried this is not the standard generic letter people get for their ppr, so I guess you need not worry about the bar codes. The reason why they need your passport before the deadline could be 2 things either your medical is expiring or your visa is ready to get stamped , either way just follow their instructions and send your passport as soon as possible.
my medical is valid till august so what can i expect...............also they hav not updated my ecas yet............in ur letter it was not to send pp till 45 days

i think medical is valid till 1 yr so i did it in aug 2010.............i dont know what they are doing n why??????getting so woorried right now
K relax you do not need to be worried about any thing , if they have given you a deadline to send in your passport more than likely if your medical is still valid, then they must be ready to issue you a visa , you should be happy instead of being so tensed up , worse case scenario they might need you for an interview which I doubt as they would have mentioned that in this letter but dont take my word for it . I am sure you will get your passport back with the visa before that deadline ends . So relax and just send your passport in as soon as possible. Looks like they might be expediting some of the applications which could be a good news for all.
