Also, we havent got any file # yet. so we cant login to eCas yet to change the mailing address. as of now, I oly have my husband's file #. how did u change? fax or online? If thru fax, can u lmk those info? Il ask my lawyer today.

Hmm so u can't change it online, as case specific query needs immigration File Number
Try these helpline numbers if they can help you on basis of Client Id Number.

Sending PP to any other country is illegal. (This is written on back of PP : "you can not send it by mail/courier etc outside the country of your residence"). So PP will come directly to you.

Also if ND consider your request of updating ur mailing address, also update your email ID in there records and ask them communicate using email.
As it will avoid any postal delay.

Hey sorry you can do it by Client Number also.
You can request for change in address using case specific enquiry. Also they will get your email and will revert you using email also.
It will surely avoid any postal delay.

PS : anyone on forum please correct if I'm wrong

ok fine, will ask my lawyer and send the enquiry to change the mailing address.. Also our lawyer has already sent email to them, reg our sttaus. case spec enquiry. But havent got back any response yet for the past 20days. So I guess, delhi shud email us to avoid postal delay right.

the letter was dated dec 9, 2010. also, ecas still shows not available. i guess like others are saying - they'll update ecas on tuesday.
so ya, not to worry..this is great news!
ques...is the file number the one on top right corner - where it says Application: F000xxxxxx? Can my husband log in using this number?
