also applied - i just read through your previous posts - there is no bar code stickers in our letter either. however, there are 2 bar codes images on the letter itself (above UCI number and above Application number). I'm guessing you have the same thing.

basically, don't worry, this is definitely great news. we don't have any additional documents to submit - it's just the pp they need. let's hope it works out soon.

Happy Tuesday!

We received mail last week from the Consulate (to our Canadian lawyers) in the beginning of November to send some more documents about my husbands work and remind them of his current address.... We did so and it has reached the consulate so I pray that today they look at the case and inform us that he is getting his passport back with the visa (PR) :

hey, can u tell me how did they send PPR and additional doc requests to the lawyer? normal post? How long did it take to reach them? And when u sent back the ppt or the docs, u just attached that scanned letter to the lawyer?

Yeah, they had sent the request to the lawyer which took almost a month to get... I wish we had put his mailing address as his own.

When they sent the PPR we received the bar codes, in which he had to paste on his documents and Passport. We had to send them and the original letter to him before he sent in his passport.

This time, we just copied the letter and he used the extra bar code he had.

oh ok. So u couriered the letter etc to him, so he needs all the originals to send ppt? And since he had one extra bar code, he used the same this time, and hence u need not courier? Since there was some addnal doc req, I guess it caused an extra 2months delay for u 1month for PPR and 1month for extra docs to reach canada lawyers.. And why do we need to send docs reg the work? I thot work related docs r not necessary 4 the applicant when we apply for spousal.. can u pls tel me what docs they requested?

guys r u confirmed that we dont need to include po box in courier ....will they be able to deliver courier on right address without po box

yes , as the courier will not even deliver to a po box , you can confirm that with the courier

Hello Folks,

My parents back home got phone call from New Delhi Office, as per the officer my wife had to go interview and date for interview is Wednesday January 5, 2011. E-cas has not yet been updated, status shows in process.

My wife is in USA for about a year by Dec. 30, 2010 on her graduate studies. We already sent pp upon New Delhi request on September 22,2010. They know that my wife mailing address USA and we mention on separate letter pp return back home my parents address.We sent pp with return UPS airway courier envelop to return pp to my parents back home address.

My wife don't even have pp to travel back home, pp was sent upon New Delhi request Sept.22, 2010. My wife can not travel without pp to New Delhi for interview.

Question to our all thread members.
what can we do, please looking forward for suggestion from all our thread members?

you should call them as soon as possible n tell them about whole situation n she can attend interview on phone............why r they callin u for interview isnt ur casr straight forward???n was it possible ti mail indian passport from outside india
