Hi Rozine, I checked my client status last week and my status has been changed to "in process" but no medical received. Any changes on your side.

"Medical received"!!!!

We got approved in Nov 30
ECAS enabled Dec 5

In PR it says
"Application received"
"We received your app on Nov 30"
"Medicals have been received"

Does it strike anything to anyone?

same email i got on 31st oct that my file is under review by visa officer after that 2times my address vanished n showed up BUT no change on ECAS jst " in process"...
now m medical getting expired in 3weeks, so i don't know whts going on with ND!!!!!!!! wht they doing??????

Hey pal,

I thought they told you they are doing background check.... isn't it? If yes, the only thing that comes in mind is a in-depth background check by outside angencies. Which have no time frame. They are doing this on most of the PR cases I believe. If you are going through this, the timeline I would say willbe 8-12 months not 6 months.

I am not sure if you should be worried for medical expiring in 3 weeks. The PR applications in other categories get approved after couple oif years of medical done too, they dont tell them to get the medical done again... Not sure now since lots of policy change are underway at CIC.

I hope you get the visa soon, my friend.

OMG Hambzik, maybe it's a visa on the way for you!

Thanks dear, however, I am not getting excited over it. If it comes good, very good, if not, I am relaxing and doing my work. I have tons of work to finish in next few weeks/months. Just hired three staff memebers here for new project, so I am keeping myself busy...

Cheers!

desiladu - when does it say they started working on your file (seems like the message usually tells). We got our PPR back on Sept 13, but still have no mention of "in progress" on eCAS - got the medical results received about 2 weeks back, but otherwise no change...

Hope it means good stuff for you, but I wish they could just process the cases reasonably, in order rather than all this sporadic, random stuff that seems to be happening lately...

HI guys,
finalyy cic ND ask for pp.......

Guys,

address disappeared from my wife's ecas today. So looking at my previous exp when we got PPR after addrss had disappeared, I would like to take it as a positive sign and hope it goes to "in process" if not "DM" :D :)

@ Kuku:

Good luck!

I must tell you, when my husband got the email from ND for PPR, the address was still there, actually, his address never disappeared, so I don't know if I should rely on that. It still says "Application Received".

I remember when I came here last year, mine was "In Process" and then went straight to DM and MEdicals Received, but my address never vanished for a single day

I think it's a random thing, wherein, the agents update it or at times choose not to..LOL

@maple

thanks for those discouraging words :P :P

I know this is just a co-incident but when that co-incident happens with us, we start thinking as an planned incident. ;) ;)..It has happened with many of the members on forum too.
So I am just being positive here.

When my wife got PPR, address was there but it had disappeared a week before and reappeared 2-3 days before we got PPR. So may be it happened with your hubby too but he or you missed that if you are not addicted to ECAS like I am :) :)

hi pls can anyone help me its jst too urgent. i went for my interview at Canada embassy in Kuala lumpur malaysia on 6th of dec 2011. i went there with my lovely wife as she came to visit me in Malaysia during this period. in all she wasnt even sent a mail that i will be interviewed i was only sent , though i taught she would have been sent too. during the interview the officer asked me if i had any relation in Canada which i said yes as my step sister recently moved there so i never wanted to lie about it. secondly he asked how my wife met her ex which i said they were family friends before meeting each other .. in all he told me he was going on a break and went to meet my wife where she was sitting , he asked her if i had a sister which she said she wasn't aware and told me she had married her ex through a dating site. we both gave different answers about this 2 questions and with this he said our visa was refused pls can anyone tell me when a letter will be sent to me about my refusal and do anyone know if i will win the appeal? pls reply me

I'm not discouraging you..I in fact said goodluck to you

I was sharing my experience

Sorry to hear that. That is one of the disadvantage of going together. If they cross check with spouse and answers differ, they will look at you suspiciously. A letter will be sent to you within 3-4 weeks and your sponsor will also be informed ( by email or mail) about the decision.

You can definitely appeal the case as yours was out land.

Good luck

EUREKA!

I think I found it!
Why Address is Disappearing!

Does the update this address link vanish too?
Maybe they are sending something by post so they dont want you to "change" the address" in the ECAS

WOW! I am a genius!, brilliant!
congratulations to me!

Hopefully its good news kuku, cause your timeline is very similar to ours, so if you get good news, hopefully we do too ;)

@siva

Last time it vanished, we got PPR but it was through "E-MAIL" :P :P...

@CIVAL

I hope so and also wish you all follow my path and get good news soon :D :D
