My wife landed in Toronto yesterday,God really helped me after all the nonsense cic said about my file (sponsor).Trust in God ,he will never disappoint you. I paid twice for right of permanent resident fee(RPRF).I want to ask for a refund inshort i will ask them for the interest 'LOL,'how do i ask for it.Where to send the request to.?.( 1st application refused 2012,ADR refused in 2013)New application june 2013-june 2014 successful.This forum is very helpful.How long to apply for health Card?

Hi Osun, I am the wife/sponsor of the person usually posting here, we share an account. I hardly post, but I think I can help with at least your health card question, I'm a Canadian by birth living here in Canada . Your wife will need to be here for 3 months before she is eligible for OHIP(that would be where the Ontario health card comes from). After that she can go to a Service Ontario office and apply with her PR card, a document showing her address, and one more identity document, and the fee. Remember if she needs health care before the 3 months is up she will need to pay, so maybe you can get private health insurance for a few months if you feel like she may need it.
Don't forget to apply for her SIN card once she gets her PR card She will need that to work in Canada. There is no waiting period for that aside from having to wait until the PR card comes. Congrats! I can't wait until my husband is here with me

they usually recommend a doctor. Did they request that ? How's your appeal going

yeah I wanted to suggest that . Call one of the hospitals and ask for the prices if you can . Hopefully you get a responds . Apart from them being rude and accusing your husband what other concerns did they have ? Did you order notes to see them ? Hopefully you address that in your next application . Don't leave no stone unturned . All the best

hi AMA will add you to the spreedsheet , at least you heard from cic requesting for additional file two months after SA so that's a good thing, giving that Accra is suppose to finalize your application in 15 months you still have some time to go . However Accra seems to be working btn 3 and 7 months lately based on timelines of people here so just pray July brings you some good news . Read from pages 100 to this last page and give yourself some hope. Check the spreedsheet and you will see it normal . If I may ask what document did Accra request? We want to hear from you if you get anymore update from them . Welcome to the family and AMA will add you to the sheet
