Wow congrats Divine Favour! Welcome to Canada I guess you arrived just at the end of Canada Day, did you get to see any of the festivities or fireworks? Can't wait until my husband lands as well!

Whao, i also applied in february. Were you asked to submit additional documents?. Is this the first time you would be hearing from them since submission?.

Wow that's really fast. We applied March 18 so maybe we might hear something in the next month and a half or two. Was there any interview? Could you give us more information about yourselves if you don't mind, like if there were any 'red flags'? Are you both close in age/from the same country? We are close in age but I am a Canadian-born citizen and my husband(who usually posts here more than me) is a Ghanaian. We are curious if people who are both originally from the same place get approved easier than people of different races/backgrounds like us.

Well we still expect our passport requests very soon Obronibini because if applications filed this year are getting landed then we are next in line for our own miracle. From my own timeline you can see that I filed the application in November 2013 and it took "forever" to be transferred to Accra.

Well we still expect our passport requests very soon Obronibini because if applications filed this year are getting landed then we are next in line for our own miracle. From my own timeline you can see that I filed the application in November 2013 and it took "forever" to be transferred to Accra.

yeah your application did . Ours took 40 days I think. We should hear something this month or by August if Accra continue like this. I can't believe they don't contact some people and the first message is bam! Visa ready .if your case is clear and you have enough prove which I believe we do, you hear good news. Without document request. Try and clear up your issue this last time and pay for the entire application if you haven't done that as that can delay your case. I mean ppf
