Yeah, that is how the whole thing works. If they are being quiet we will also be quiet, so that they will see the quietness they are causing . They better hurry up and put talking in house.

Hey Mr Forte,

Here's my advice to you. Nothing is wrong with ur plans, u mustn't travel to nigeria for ur trad and if none of ur parents can witness ur court wedding, don't fret about it. You are not there alone.

About applying for a visa, your best bet is to leave your fiancee out of it and go for strictly tourist visa. Having F1 US visa gives u temporary residence in US and it's an added advantage. It's not a guarantee anyway but I know a couple of students in US that got canadian visa at just one snap. Get enough school proof and give it a shot.

Does anyone know how long it takes to transfer a file from one visa office to another? My husbands file was transferred the Accra from Ankara on Nov 4 and so far the say they haven't received it yet. December 16 will be one year we have been waiting for my husbands PR.

Hey, they may have it but wont give AOR. Most of us didn't get one, I don't know if anyone did actually. Have you contacted them, to know it is definitely not there? Our file transfer notification was September 27th and they 'started processing' (which I took as our AOR2) on October 6th, so it took just over a week for them to receive it from Mississauga.

May I inquire why your app was in Ankara first before going to Accra? Was it ever in Canada?

Files can be transferred from one VO to another for visa issuance. I got a friend whose wife is Cameroonian but based was based in Sweden . Her application was transferred from Mississauga to Dakar Senegal because Senegal is the country processing visa application for Cameroonian. After Senegal was done with the processing, her file was transferred again to London where she picked up the visa. My scenario also is I am Cameroonian and same with my wife. Her application was instead sent to Accra for reasons I don't know. I am convinced when Accra finishes with the application, she will forward it to Dakar Senegal who will issue my wife then a visa in Jesus name
