We finally received our good news 14 months to the date of application. We had the dreaded "interview" and I flew down to go with him. The immigration officer asked for his passport the same day. Thank God for his mercies!

We have to resubmit a schedule A, redo the medicals, PCC and submit photographs along with the passport.

congrats to you ikema,dele and yayao its been such a nerve racking wait for u all. But I have a question for all those who have received ppr. does all ppr come with an instruction to fill a new schedule A form? and does anyone one knows why they ask u to fill a new schedule A as for updated family info I understand tnx guys have a safe trip God willingly at the right time we will all get our documentations and be with our lovely spouses

Ours did require another schedule A. They want your history from the age of 18 even though the form says 10yrs to the date of the application or from the age of 18yrs.

A big joyous congratulations to those that have landed, got their visas, those that got ppr already i say thumb up nd thank God nd for we still expecting our ppr, God in his mercy shall see us through IJMN... Amen

Our original information in the Schedule A was from the past 10 years. The new one is from when my husband reached the age of 18yrs till now. If the principal applicant is 28yrs or less or you filled the from with information from when you were 18yrs till the date of the application then you will not need the Schedule A.

Many people want to know about time lines. From the time I have spent on this platform I can say that by the 8th month you should have heard from AVO: Latest by the 9th month you should have heard from them. If your application has no redflags by the 9th month you should receive your PP request.

If they need more information before arriving at a decision - without an interview, they will ask for it. From then there is no guarantee as to when you will hear from them. They do try to keep to the timelines as set out by IRCC on the website.

They can call the principal applicant with some questions if they have enough paper information but want confirmation of other aspects. They can do a brief interview on the phone - this normally happens without warning.

If your redflag is a banner like ours, they can ask for more information, call over the phone and also ask you to attend for interview.

Remember that every file has two immigration officers - one in Ottawa and the other in the Visa office. Both make decisions on your file.

Congrats on ya visa ... So wat u mean is that the silence from AVO is kinda a good news ? my timeline is almost 8 months and havent heard notta from them ..

I remember how many complaints I have come across on you..because your application is onw of the longest I ever see in this forum....everything takes you complete 14months...its a happy day indeed ..
Please tell you if you consult your MP before he get the ppr today...
