Hey, they may have it but wont give AOR. Most of us didn't get one, I don't know if anyone did actually. Have you contacted them, to know it is definitely not there? Our file transfer notification was September 27th and they 'started processing' (which I took as our AOR2) on October 6th, so it took just over a week for them to receive it from Mississauga.

May I inquire why your app was in Ankara first before going to Accra? Was it ever in Canada?

Yes it was in Ankara because my husband was residing in Republic of Georgia... his work permit expired so he went back to Nigeria as he was unable to renew it. Ankara decided to transfer his file to Ghana because he will be able to travel there for his interview without a visa. It seems they mailed our file by regular because it going on three weeks now.

We are praying that my husband does not have to redo his medicals because they expire in December :'(

Oh no That's not fun at all, sorry to hear about that. So were you able to contact Accra to see if it was there? I'm trying to think about what else you can do, because 3 weeks is a while.... hmmmm...

We emailed Accra on Nov 14, they replied the next day saying that they still have not received it. I just wish they would have asked for more relationship proof or something rather than having us now wait on Accra to reassess or papers and schedule an interview. Hopefully we will be able to get an interview date scheduled for this year ???

That's so strange. I'm hoping for you that it arrives soon. As for the interview, how do you know you will have to do one? Perhaps they will open your app in Accra and just hurry it along. I hope they see your medical is soon expiring and extend it.

Ankara requested an interview so we are just assuming Accra will continue where they left off and request an interview as well. We still hope maybe they will just ask him to send his passport though

since its only document avo waiting to decide, I have sent it via email and CSE.

Send the original by DHL to AVO. Police record is one of the documents they ask that you send in the originals.

Good morning everyone, how are you all doing? Pls I need some little clarification, please I cant link my application bcos I have a representative but I have been checking through the immigration website the process, I'm kind of confused what is the first thing they always put on ECAS, regarding medicals? Is it Medical Received? or Medical Result Received? I just checked now it say my husband medical Result is Received. I don't know if that's what has Bern there or if it just changed now. Sorry for the long Essay. Thanks
