Hi guys,

Any idea how long it takes for passport to be ready after it has been received by the embassy. From tracking mine was signed for on Wednesday morning. When do i expect contact from them.

around two weeks from what others posted. I don't think it will be more than 3 weeks.

If you want my honest opinion , I think Visa officers especially the one in Ghana should be paid by "piece work" or better yet, their pay roll administrator should be very slow as well. And see how they will react to their pay not in their accounts as a result of slow paced workers.
They all got raises after the strike sometime last year. The money we throw at them, the slower they work.

God be praised!!!. Honestly, I'm still in shock. I received a mail from Accra this afternoon to send our passports. I pray that good news will not seize on this thread. God's favour will speak for every one still waiting to hear from them. I will be sending the passports tomorrow.
Is the updated family information the imm008 form?, do I have to fill it even though there are no changes in my family information?.
which address am I to send the mail to?. Thank you

Next and I want passport request . I don't want to ever go to the embassy lol . And I think Accra is doing well now . It 5 months so let applause them for working under 7 months

We give God all the glory what are we who have applied since November 2013 say ? This is an endless wait, i believe I am also next in line for this miracle.

it holiday today in Ghana . I wonder if the embassy will be opened . Am sure your passport will be delivered regardless though. Just wondering if they will be working today . It another week and I pray more Gud news comes out of Accra

@Yomibarnes, I know it sucks but you just have to be patient. Since you're in Accra can't you go to the Office? I am surprised that you dont have an option of just picking up the document. Hopefully the baby sits tight and waits for you to get here. All the best once you get to the Prairies.

We just got our GCMS notes today, medicals passed! But nothing else has been started yet. The notes seem okay and shows a summary of the info we have sent and didn't point out any concerns as of yet so that seems good and at least we know they have taken a look at the file and at our photos. We are a bit unsure about this one part though, does anyone understand what this means? We have taken out all the dates and personal info, but the due date has passed if that makes any difference.
