I am just wondering, if we got Sponsor Approval and Medical has Passed, is there still a chance that the application will get denied?

Unless they find something serious, it should not be denied if everything is in order

In an interesting turn of events, when I was crossing the Canada-US land border by car, I narrated my situation to a CBSA officer and he told me that I could apply for an in-person TRP at the border if I brought my son with me and would very likely get it approved as a 'dual-intent TRP'. I immediately drove back and fetched my wife and child and our son was granted a multiple entry TRP for 2 years. So we'll be moving into Canada with our son as soon as possible and will continue to wait for his PR without having to undergo the pain of separation. I'm guessing I'd have to let CPC Sydney know about the change in my situation and convert my application to an inland application.

Hi All,
I received passport request for my son from New Delhi visa office.
My son is on TRV in Canada.
Should I send the passport to cpc Ottawa since in the mail it is mentioned ‘ of residing in Canada for the next three months’ send to cpc Ottawa.

I have collated and posted a few timelines earlier. Please check that post.

Depending on the VO it varies. Usually 2 to 7 Months atleast for the COPR.

Hi , Did you inform CPC Sydney to convert your application to an inland application. I am in same situation where I applied for my SON sponsorship as outland candidate but now he is in Canada on TRP . How to inform CPC sydney about this status ? current update is sponsor approval is done , medical results have been received . Please guide me what to do in this situation. Will converting PR application from outland to inland process it quickly.
