Guys,

Same status here, I just received an email from LVO requesting for my passport and passports of each companying dependents if any (dependents- not applicable to me at this stage because I declared on my form that I will not be travelling with them at the initial stage)

One surprising thing to me is that my CIC status is still showing 'In process'. So guys, I would suggest that you sometimes pay less attention to the CIC status. I've 30 days to submit the documents which I will do in person next week. Collection if submitted in person is after 2 weeks of submission as stated in their email attachment.

Hi all
It was my bfd today. Yesterday I sent csi and got following reply:

Your file is still undergoing background checks. Please be advised that this is a lengthy process, whilst we understand that you are eager to travel to Canada and establish with your family as permanent residents, background checks are a mandatory part of the application process and can not be expedited. Once the process is complete we will be in contact with been further instructions with the processing of your file.

This reply means no update for those applicants who got udr in October 12.
