Hi all
It was my bfd today. Yesterday I sent csi and got following reply:

Your file is still undergoing background checks. Please be advised that this is a lengthy process, whilst we understand that you are eager to travel to Canada and establish with your family as permanent residents, background checks are a mandatory part of the application process and can not be expedited. Once the process is complete we will be in contact with been further instructions with the processing of your file.

This reply means no update for those applicants who got udr in October 12.

G SMSH Bhai, I got the 6-12 months wait letter. its deadline was April 12, 2013. In the last week of April I got the medical request. It was done on May 6, 2013. I got PPR1 request after almost 4 months and now visa will be issued on 2 steps. I am asked to send photo copies of passports and a personal history/ bio data form to Paris. Afterwards they will intimate me to send Passports to Islamabad.

Is there a difference between internal verifications and security verifications? I am talking after medical stage
