Yes. I received the mail only to submit police clearance and in the mail, they mention to submit the PCC for myself and for my wife by 45 days and they also mention not to inquire for upcoming 4 months.

I am not sure what will happen after that, may be they will send MED rec after that.

It is also possible that they will finish BGC first and if all OK then they will send MR and then quick PPR may be in 2-3 months max but it is a very positive indeed. So now send them PCC with Rocket Speed!
so they can do further progress on your case. Keep us posted if there is any good news I mean MR

In my opinion, it is better to send them the form again filled with correct information along with an explanation letter. At this stage background checks are done. It might delay your case a little bit but better not to take any risk.

I think it is a definite move forward as police certificate are valid only up to one year. Our previous ones have expired so if they are asking for new ones from us (18 months wait letter holders) than they want to wind up files under a year and 4 months wait......... may be meds in 4 months who knows

I received the same letter for pcc on june 20 and i forwarded the same to them on july 24 and since then no news pccs are valid for 6 months only and they asked toi wait 4 months

First as my wife is pregnant and in India + as she stayed in UAE for 3 years - uae PCC will also be required..

Second, I will have to provide 3 PCC for me- USA, India & UAE of which USA is a big headache and time consuming...

You don't need pcc from the U.S if you didn't go there after submitting it initially

I know someone who got PCC+UDR in june 2012 (almost 1 year n 3 months ago) and since then , no MR.....
Further, Pcc r valid for 3 months...
So in my opinion, this is a small lollypop...and a stupid expense of DHL...they could ve asked this with rprf or medical....even eemoo people (oct 2012 UDR) r aproaching a year to pcc...so thinking this is a sign of MR is again a wishful thinking....as said earlier, until someone gets MR, its not a big deal.....they r just collecting stuff they have to ask, one by one and dragging something which couldve been asked all in one go....bus "jo maangein, de do" ....its just that we r SO frustrated/desperate that even when they ask for the smallest thing, we start celebrating ....dil behlanay ke liye acha hai but reality is , until MR comes, the game is not on...

All I'm saying is...they should ve sent us MR in Feb 2013....or Aug 2013....and all they have sent us is PCC to two people (from club 18)...and we r celebrating EVEN on that... shows how desperate we ve become....chalo..achee baat hai....khush hona chahiye !!

P.s: since pcc has no impact on your departure date/visa, (only MR does)....so for me, MR is the first BIG step (as it is linked with the visa date)...all these small updates r just 'dil ke tasalli' without any REAL/IMPACTFUL event...and can be dragged...for me, this update is just "jo maanga hai, de do"...nothing to celebrate, nothing to be sad about !! Its just a sign that our file is alive (which is a good thing).

agreed..........nika lollypop again to gain gain some time ..... they are tasked a month to start MR...so whatever or whichever way, they have to pass the time in between it..........either by asking PCC or any updated form etc etc.......

I believe the PCC was damaged because there are too many bugs in London and it was hard to read so another one was ordered

They asked PCC (June20, 2013 - 60-day period) for my husband from South Korea (which is very difficult to obtain) took 6weeks. so my agent wrote them a letter stating it will be late attached was the receipt.
