I just received a mail from LDNIMMIGRATION @ international.gc.ca

says that They need my "updated police clearance" by 45 days and to wait 4 months..

Pls. be noted that,, I am a 18 months wait holder and last BFD was 14-08-2013

Those who have not got Email regarding B to E should expect update in near future because their electronic files are not transferred to gsm which mean, they have plan to dispose off these file in current year.

yes.. dest. Canada. same here. I will collect the form tomorrow from Canada high commission,will go 4 finger print day after tomorrow.

have you got only a letter requesting to update police clearance, nothing else requested??? and what does it mean by wait 4 months for what?? does it indicate MR after 4 months??? and did they ask you PCC for Kuwait only!!! not for Bangladesh??

I have applied for fresh caips notes and due date is 26-8-13. Last bfd was on 13-8-13 but I have not got email regarding b to e. situation will be much clear after getting caips notes. At this stage everything is speculation but we should not expect any update before october 2013. Hope for best.

It's just a part of background checks nothing else, same thing happened to one guy and he has been waiting for medicals since last year

I think it is a definite move forward as police certificate are valid only up to one year. Our previous ones have expired so if they are asking for new ones from us (18 months wait letter holders) than they want to wind up files under a year and 4 months wait......... may be meds in 4 months who knows

PCCs are valid for 3 months.

Wait time asked by LVO is 4 months. It makes sense

Dear Dest. Canada,,

Yes. I received the mail only to submit police clearance and in the mail, they mention to submit the PCC for myself and for my wife by 45 days and they also mention not to inquire for upcoming 4 months.

I am not sure what will happen after that, may be they will send MED rec after that.
