Thank you very much for all your help and valuable inputs. Today, Aramex has delivered my passport back with visa stamped!!! Thanks to God! Finally, my wait is over. After more than 3 years from the date of initial application, visa is issued.

PP request - March 21 thru email
PP received - March 21 thru DHL
DM status - April 09
PP received - April 10

Now, next step is to arrange for landing. I have no relatives in Canada and I will be travelling alone. Any idea, where is a suitable place to temporary stay in Canada and how can i manage to receive my PR back faster as I'm planning to came back to Dubai and finish my contract first before finally settling.

First of Congrats on getting the visa. Now to stay for temperory period, it depends upon you. For job purpose and by looking at your NOC you belong to Financial accountant and auditors. I read a research report calgary is good NOC 1111.

Means background checks are still in progress which means you are being scrutinized and take it easy
