Hi everybody,
This is my first time here. Can anybody tell me what should I do because I applied for my wife's immigration in June 2011 and so far she has not received remedial request letter from CHC ISLAMABAD?

Just read posts on britishexpats, they also fear 18 months wait letter....some blamed this threat on the wokload transferred from Pakistan ... NA JAIN GAY NA JANAY DAIN GAY
Why not start a new thread... Thoz who are sentenced 18 months to wait again

I think we should not call it 18 months wait letter (Dill ko holl pertay hain).

It's more convenient to call it like 18 months no CSI and this is exactly written on letter. Wait means no action till 18 months and if it's a true statement then why they are sending us UDR.

No doubt about that that they said to wait for 18 months and case will be processed in 18 months time....
Khuda janay yeh deadline lenay kehliyee kitni discussion hui hogi...
My understanding & believe is that since they have asked for UDR which means they are interested in those people...
and if there plan was to ignore then they could have easily drafted a letter without UDR ....I hope it make sense....like 6-12 months wait letter...
So no more UDR will be required for 18 months email holders and they will get direct MR with PCC...that's it....
Now it depends how long they need to initiate MR...this could be 4-6 months or from any targets sets within the organization....
Bus Allah say dua hai hum sub ko Visa mil jaye and we should land in Canada soon this year or next year....
Aur Allah say yeh bhi Dua hai keh Allah hum sub ko rizq-e-Halal Wasee ata farmyee...Ameen...
Hum jahan bhi rahain sub khayriyat say rahain...Life is very short....

thanks bro for such nice prayers, inshallah sub behtar hoga... we all r positive and hoping June/July to be our lucky month as if they wont start MR till that time then koi or new timeline bhi aa sakti hey

I am very sorry but i didnt get your point clearly.

LVO has 7k or (6,988 to be precise) cases as of 8th jan.

you mentioned that they processed 1.4k cases in last three months so I am assuming that you are conidering jan/feb/mar.

So if we deduct these nos from Jan report, we have 5.6k cases pending at LVO.. right?


We also know that pending cases for MI-01 at LVO were around 4k which is 60% of all SW cases at LVO

Considering your point into equation (1.4 cases processed in last 3 months and assuming that atleast 50% processed cases are of MI-01)
then LVO may have (4k-(1.4k*50%) = 3.3K cases as of now.

What about this year quota?? how much is left?

All applicants , who will be successful will get Visas max by 3rd quarter of 2014. Its Simple , rather very simple.
LVO has shifted some cases to Paris Visa office , in order to reduce their burden. I hope by the end of this year , all applicants will be in their final stages of applications.
lot of applications of MI1 were lost by LVO and other visa office in their system , due to computer glitch - If any one who has not got any response must contact CIC at Nova Scotia , on their Search Email address.
