Dear All my consultant has received this email on 05-04-13. As per caips case is with paris office and further as caips notes they were supposed to ask the police certificate from UAE but it is not mentioned below.

In the interest of better workload distribution, Citizenship and Immigration Canada has transferred your application for permanent residence to our office for further processing.

Please complete the above attached formula and returned as soon as possible.



From receipt of your application in our office, we assume responsibility for the processing of your application to its conclusion. Any correspondence directed to the previous visa office will remain unacknowledged.

In order to continue processing your application, we require the additional documents listed below within 60 days.

PLEASE ENCLOSE A COPY OF THIS LETTER WITH YOUR REPLY.

The forms listed below can be found on the CIC website at: www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/skilled.asp

(Please declare personal history and addresses since the age of 18 without any gaps in dates)

1. New Application for Permanent Residence IMM0008 form for the principal applicant.

2. Schedule A – Background/Declaration [IMM 5669]

3. Supplementary Information - Your travels [IMM 5562]

4. New Additional Family Information Form IMM5406 for yourself and each family member over the age of 18.

5. Copy of passport title page for each applicant. If any of your dependants are included in a parent's passport, please ensure that you apply for an individual passport for each person. Please note that each person will require their own passport at the time of visa issuance.

6. For all applicants with any military service, please provide a copy of the Military Card or Military Exemption Card.

Please forward all requested documents together within 60 days from the date of this letter. Remember to quote your file number on all correspondence, including the envelope. We will update your file but not acknowledge receipt of the documents. We will contact you if the need arises.

Please note that your application is still subject to admissibility checks and verifications that are deemed necessary. You should not take any irrevocable action such as selling your property, quitting your job, or buying plane tickets until we have advised you of the final decision on your application.

Please not make case status enquiries for the next 8 months, as our resources are devoted to case processing and we will not be able to answer routine enquiries.

However, please do advise us if there is a change in your personal circumstances, such as the birth of a child, a marriage or divorce. You must also inform us of a:

● Change of address, including change of e-mail address;

● Change of immigration representative. You must include a completed and signed Use of a Representative form (IMM5476E). You can find the form at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5476E.pdf)

● Request for withdrawal of your application.

Please note that if we do not receive these documents and/or information within 60 days your application will be examined on the basis of the material available. This could result in the refusal of your application.

Please note that if you expect longer delays to obtain certain documents, you must send what you are able to provide within 60 days along with a letter indicating which documents will be provided at a later date, why they are not available now and when you believe you will be able to provide them.

So , .....a total of 26,877 FSW cases .....OR.... 91,000 people...are awaiting decision...

So, out of these 27 K (approx) fsw cases, OR 91 K people, ... how many does LVO have ? Any idea ? Anyone ?

you mentioned that they processed 1.4k cases in last three months so I am assuming that you are conidering jan/feb/mar.

So if we deduct these nos from Jan report, we have 5.6k cases pending at LVO.. right?


We also know that pending cases for MI-01 at LVO were around 4k which is 60% of all SW cases at LVO

Considering your point into equation (1.4 cases processed in last 3 months and assuming that atleast 50% processed cases are of MI-01)
then LVO may have (4k-(1.4k*50%) = 3.3K cases as of now.

What about this year quota?? how much is left?

No Sorry, 3 months mean Oct, Nov. Dec. bcoz the last data release was in early Oct. 2012 when 8.4 k cases were pending in LVO and as of Jan. 2013 7k (24 k persons) cases are pending at LVO, so they process 1.4 k cases (approx) in 3 months (Oct., Nov. Dec. 2012).
I dont know how much is the quota left but in 2012 the quota was around 13k for SW for LVO. So if the quota is same for this year 2013 all the pending cases will be cleared by Sep / Oct 2014 (13 k for 2013+ 13 k for 2014) and still they will left with 26k-24k= 2k visa quota.

You can start counting days....but no body knows but Allah knows...
and you start praying and keeps your hopes high until for some one there is a clear rejection in writing
even people are asking to reconsider after the case was closed and they got visa....
so our job is try our best with the tofeeq of Allah and insha Allah soon we will be in Canada....our future Land
