How about background/security checks?

Is there any info. of completion/pending abovementioned checks in your CAIPS?

1. New Application for Permanent Residence IMM0008 form for the principal applicant. (Principal Applicant only)

2. Schedule A – Background/Declaration [IMM 5669] (Principal & spouse)

3. Supplementary Information - Your travels [IMM 5562] (Principal & spouse)

4. New Additional Family Information Form IMM5406 for yourself and each family member over the age of 18.(Principal & spouse) + Children above 18 years

Plus one confusion:

IMM0008ENU_2D Form is a form we need to fill up for point 1? right?

this confusion arises because the form title says "generic application form for Canada" but in email it refers to as " New Application for Permanent Residence IMM0008 form for the principal applicant."

The old form which i submitted to LVO was iMM000egen.pdf and title of the form was also "New Application for Permanent Residence" as mentioned in the email.

I have also been advised by chc london that my application is under background checks which are likely to take several months to conclude. lets see when this wait is over.

Have u already done your medicals?

I'm asking because in general, background checks usually been started after applicant done with medicals.

To my last email they replied that BGC in progress but caips shows 0 means not completed. In front of CRIM shows 1 which I hope means criminality passed. Shows all activities of updated docs as POF etc but my understanding is just checking current job in UK & tax returns as was asked for docs in Dec 2012. My assistant is KKB but file is marked next for WEW.

So it is still a dilemma that whether VO sends medical request after completion of BG checks or not for 6-12 wait letter holders.

Looking at the Oct. and Nov. last year they will send UDR to all Sept. and may be Oct. applicants who sent full documents in theses months and the rest they will take care in the next quarter
