thats something new coming out of kenney's mouth, whats the truth, a week ago he stated 250,000-265,000 will be getting new PR, so, which news to belief.

He will give visa to us and new system will not take more than 55k people

Bro, ...'250,000 people in 2013' is for ALL categories including FSW, investor, quebec skilled worker, asyelum, family sponship, provinvial nominee....

For FSW , its 53500 people in 2013....

But wait.....I'm assuming this 100,000 people pending also includes everyone one the above cetegories, like investor pnp etc... OR r they just FSW people ??? Pata nahi yaar....I'm a bit confused to be honest....

But one thing I have a feeling about, ....that not ALL of us will clear in 2013....some will go into 2014 ... I hope I'm proven wrong...and all of us get through in 2013

You are right. Estimate of 250+- includes other categories as well.

I think they have already selected files for 2013. So they are moving accordingly. Now things are pretty much under the control of visa offices. Not like before where the intake was not controlled. So now they can play around the files based on estimates of their boss.

Simple new application is 55k and in total Canada will issue 250K PR to whom use common sense it is all those people who are in Q like us but they will give priority NOC wise as simple as that

Pata nahi yaar... let's just concentrate on the next step (further docs/MR) and not think of the final step (visa) for now....

Don't think that minimum target set by Canada will be enough
Yaar we need to buy car and fuel and other unforeseen expenses....
It's really luxury life here in UAE 4 wheel drive from show room and there we need minimum saloon for family

Agreed. We also need to think about getting admission to some course/certificate/program right after arrival. For that one we also need to keep something in our pocket. Though for last 10 ten i am working in NOC 1111. But now thinking of moving to another profession in demand in canada

thanks mate for making me calm down with your logical words, though i want to believe you BUT also you cant be sure of what you have just said,cause, we know very well that lots of guys like us on queue for either MR or updated docs request and its like a queue in the bank, the teller counter might close down for the day before your turn comes up, and you may have to come back the next day, BUT, this is not bank, its CIC, SO, if your turn does not come in 2013 then it will be 2014, i hope, i am not right

P.S. 250,000+ is not only FSW, its overall. you have to keep that in mind too.

It's better to tweet Kenney and ask him, he always answers, you are right it is confusing and one more thing the 55000 is people including dependents so the applicants are around 19000 and also the backlog is 100000 applicants means 250000 people including dependents

As per my understanding it is very clear that most of us will get the VISA as already they have approved the biggest limit for PR in the history and delay will be for NOC not required or if some applicant required more time for background checks or some are unable to provide the updated info on time will be delayed......
Now please stop discussion that what will happen insha Allah we all are going to get the Visa max in 2013
