Thoz who got 6-12 months wait letter

I was interpreting as that he reduced the number of persons to 55000 in 2013 and the current backlog is 100000 applications means 250000 visas if you count the number of persons and he mentioned at the end of 2014 he will overcome the backlog I am totally confused by the whole thing

Don't worry Yaar they already started MR for MI 1 as a proof our list is enough and many of them already got updated docs request which means insha Allah things are in line
May be CIC IS FEDUP FROM backlog and wanted to finish it
U will see the real story by end of this year or 1st Quarter of 2013

Yar as I read on this thread, backlog doesn't mean us, we r working inventory ... They r referring to 8 years which is obviously not MI 1, 2 or 3... It's more focused on their steps they took and what good is expected in new system... I didn't feel it has something for us ...

Dear All,
Good news is, I`ve also received the letter from the LVO asking for the updated documents and PCC etc. Thanks for the support and the wishes on the previous pages of this thread.
I have problem too. The VO has ticked the box of Medical Examination and refers me to the enclosed details. But there is not enclosed details. what should I do? Has someone faced the similar problem? Input please

In my MR and Document update requests, 'We look forward to hearing from you within 90 days' is mentioned. The printout looked like a standard form in which the required documents were manually checked or written down. This 90 days time frame was a part of the standard form and not newly entered. My form number, I believe, is P103 (09/09) - mentioned on the right bottom corner (back side of the request form). My concern - is it the same standard form received by all here? Or, are we all receiving different update request forms as the deadlines mentioned by the forum members varies from 30, 60 and 90 days ?!? Appreciate your comments and observations. Thanks.

So, it means P103 is a standard form. Now coming back to my concern - this P103 looks like a form printed in bulk and the officer tick marks the required documents from a list of many choices. In this form, 90 days seems to be a part of the original printing and not something which was added at the time of requests. Then, how come each one of us are getting different submission deadlines ranging from 30 to 90 days? Hope you understood why I am inquisitive about it!!! Only the ones who have received the MR or Document Update request can clarify this completely by sharing their experience - as to what exactly are the deadline wording in their letter says...Thanks in advance.

Thinking on the same line. Probably, the updated docs request applicants are being given 30 days to submit while those of Medicals are being given 60 days. Is there any applicant with 30 days to submit the Medical?

Sorry bro...didn't realize you were asking a question...P103 is a code which I found at the bottom of the page. I don't know if they call it by any special name or not. But, it contains the names of couple of forms and other documents. The officer tick marks which ever documents he/she wants you to submit/update. If your CAIPS notes said this form has been prepared, then you should be minimum getting a document update requests. If you are lucky enough, in the first go itself, they will ask for MR...that is all I can say at the moment with my limited knowledge on this subject. There are veterans in this forum who could give a perfect answer to your question. Am sorry I could do only this much...

Great! Thanks for your time. My first question was - on the second page of the document update checklist / P103, did they mention anything like - 'We look forward to hearing from you within 90 days' or something - the deadline for submission from the date of issue of letter???
