1/2 @ kenneyjason Greetings Sir. VOs like New Delhi have comparatively HUGE backlog of FSW MI1 apps.

Jason Kenney ‏ @ kenneyjason
@ 1naturelover The only new FSWP applications we're taking now are for those with Arranged Employment Offers, & the in-Canada PhD stream.

Jason Kenney ‏ @ kenneyjason
@ 1naturelover MI1 applications are at the front of the FSWP queue, and CIC is making good progress on processing them, worldwide. #cdnimm

Good News :)

I also hope that he is being followed by Mr. Gordon Campbell (London High Commissioner) and know that MI 1 is now at front of other applications

Yahh it's really Killing & frustrating ...Our only fault (even it's not ours) is that we are belonging to this LVO :( this is completly unfair ... People applied with us same timeline & same NOC are now getting thier MR,PPR & some of them VISA & we are still in the waiting queue & still nobody knows when it will/may be finalized :'( :'( Alhamdulilah for Everything

I have even seen some applicants from London who submitted complete application after me and have got MR. London VO does not have set pattern unfortunately. :(

And its not only London even applicants from ND are crying. You can see it on other threads. May be it is just that we r destined for 2013 and not 2012. Lets hope InshAllah

Dear Waiters,

as we have already witnessed our fellow MI-1 applicants all over the world waiting and still in process, its not surprising that we have to wait longer then usual, specially we are MI-1+wait letter holder, SO, you know what i mean, we have to wait for a long time before MR, most probably 10 months from our wait letter date to get MR and that's completely my personal prediction.

I also feel the same...that MR will come around 10 months from letter/in process date.....and after MR, another 6-8 months for visa.....same thing as I said earlier.....second half of 2013 for visa....(3 year process for MI-1, since these days 2009 applicants getting visas)....chalo, koi nahi...dair aye , durust aye..InshaAllah....:)

P.s: we have to keep in mind, that London visa office is handling cases from more than 20 different countries. So time to lagay ga :)

No harm in applying for caips if u want. Most of the waiters have applied for it. Basically, It will give you peace of mind, plus it give a list of docs they will ask from you at MR stage, your next bfd (will be march 2013) , vo comments on your job, and overall file etc etc....caips is all for your peace of mind.... if it gives u peace of mind, feel free to apply, absolutely no harm in it.

As for emailing, hmmm....not sure....people might differ on this one...u can if u really want to. The worst is they might not reply, but some chances are they might reply too. So again, upto you, whatever u feel like it. Its your case, only u can be the best judge. There is no absolute right or wrong in this one..(I would wait for atleast 8 months before shooting email, OR atleat see on forum when other people start getting docs request, then shoot email).... But again, upto u ! ....I'd say wait for a bit. Atleast one month more...let's see what others feel...

Well i know the status of my case because i got my CAIPS in June and next BFD is 13-3-13 but as per some forum members they may send request earlier for Updated documents. just curious to know if any update/change in my Case at present. still waiting for more opinions from other forum members.

Ahhh...a second caips at this stage, is kinda TOO much/useless, coz high chances r there might not much activity on it....it would make more sense to me, if it was after medical...but again, your choice bro...YOUR peace of mind is what u need :)

As for email, ahan, :) ok..I see what u re trying to do here... ;) "shoot email, and make them look at my file again, and they might reply with further docs request"...;) ...well, worth a try if u want to. :) cheeky, but u never know, could be effective too....lol....again....its a personal choice thing.... Let's see what others say....

But in wait letter they clearly stated "No more CSI plz" for 12 months from date of letter? The safe plan would be to wait for at least 9 months before hurling an email. The game here is "WAIT AND WATCH".

i already said, that its better to wait and watch...and that it might not work, so I would not do it, if I was u.....just said that INCASE someone REALLY wants to send email, and can NO LONGER wait........otherwise, as u rightly said, abhi its the time to "wait, watch n don't do anything fancy/over smart for now" mode....patience is a virtue :)

@ jamy: I doubt any of waiters will advise u to send email, at this stage-----otherwise, they would ve sent it for their own case.

well i think you are right Jimmy Page its better to play wait and watch game ;)

Dear Waiters,

Personally i don't think their is any logical connection of sending CSI hence your file getting jeopardize, wait letter mentioned clearly not to CSI before 12 months, that also doesn't necessarily means your file will be rejected if you send a CSI before 365 days, we should simply use our common sense and not annoy LVO, i would suggest that sending 1st CSI after 10 months from the wait letter date would be sensible and if no response then 2nd CSI after 6 months counting from the 1st CSI date. by the time of 3rd CSI, hopefully MR will arrive :)

by the ways CSI:MIAMI/NEWYORK was awesome, innit??? ;)

If you have received the 6-12 wait letter then you should not contact CIC before 12 months as per instructions, in my opinion this can delay your case because of not following CIC written statement to all waiters, however CAIPS is a very good option to check the status in both cases (wait letter received or not)

There is no harm in both, one British guy on British expats forum sent CSI and he a wait holder and got reply that MR is ready to be sent, if you send CSI it won't hurt you
