Ghost update on my CIC this morning but no mails or messages yet.
As i mentioned my earlier messages, they have replied to one of my detailed email after 41 days ago then two ghost mails in just two days.
And after 10 days now a ghost update .

Looks good. I also raised a CSE last week. Lets see how it rolls.

I also sent an email about medical extension and got a response that i will have to redo medicals. Shortly after that i got a message in mycic requesting new medicals.
In addition to that they said that my application is taking so long due to a large number of security screenings. Now they're asking me to redo medicals in the next 30 days yet they can't guarantee i won't have to do it again next year if my screening is not done by then. I just hate this process. I wish i had gone for australia instead.

Guys, a week after crossing 6 months, I called CIC and they said security check is in process and asked to call back after Dec 12, 2016 if I don't hear from them.
Obviously, this freaked me out. Now I am thinking, does it makes sense to call CIC again?
I mean, do you think it's possible to get some more info, like if there's any particular issue or maybe more accurate timeframe?

Yes. About two months ago my medicals went from passed to review in progress. I emailed and called them several times to find out why and never got an answer. Dont worry, U can call them anytime and u ll get either no dates or different dates again and updated status. So dont take any timelines given by agents as these dont work

Oh, why they didn't extend it as the delay is from their side. I wonder they extend it randomly or they have some criteria.

No clue. I feel very disappointed. I was asking and hoping for extension. But i also know there's no point in trying to change their mind so i'll do whatever they ask. I gave up a long time ago. It'll be 10 months in a few days.

Guess we are in the same boat ...I dont think they have any pattern of asking for new medical/ extension !!

Large Security Screening ..hell ..its just an excuse for their laziness ...the Intelligence System across the globe is highly automated and having information about all individuals at the click of a button...Govts across the globe are nothing but a bunch of Rulebooks and Govt officials are like those dumb students who mug up those books and vomit it in the examination without understanding the Question which is being asked ...Australia is not going to be any different ..we have to be patient and Strong to handle the stress induced by this immigration process.

I applied Oct 09, 2015 under CEC express entry its still in process. Looks like they will ask us to redo medical. My visa office is ottawa.

How do you know if blank means its done ?
