application received for permanent residence august 2, 2013 medicals received
how long will we wait for the pr usually and how are they going to contact us with the ppr

May I butt in.. if you applied at manila office.. from the date the file was transffered from CPC-M to Manila VO i think you need to wait for atleast 5 months for them to email you the PPR.

I hope i'm correct and if i'm not, i'm hoping for it to be earlier than 5 months.

Right now at the average, yes it's 5 months. So by the last week of December or early January, I'll have my PPR already....hopefully hehe

hey thanks for the info, when my husband received the SA it was stated in their letter that it would be send to manila, how can i trace it if its already there?

Yes thats good news tlga and if im not mistaken some of june applicants also receive their ppr and all other applicats are getting their visa's today and i hope more results to come. It seems our office here on manila are on fire on checking and processing and giving applicants ppr and visas.

Yes, is there a link that we could check at if there are really PPRs fpr June applicants in Manila VO? If that's teh case, then we re also close to having our PPRs.

By the way, to my fellow applicants here in Manila, please stay safe and dry for the coming super typhoon.

Hi Guys,

My wife got the PPR by Colombo VO.

We didn't hear anything from embassy (other than application received) for long time, so I decided to email the embassy on Wednesday. On thursday they sent an email saying, "You will receive a letter with instructions shortly" And I got that letter to submit the passport on Thursday.

Today, Friday my wife went and submitted the passport along with 2 photographs. According to the other Colombo applicants, it takes about 3 days to get the passport back.

I am sooooooooooooo Happy. I pray for all the other applicants for a speedy process as well.

We didn't hear anything from embassy (other than application received) for long time, so I decided to email the embassy on Wednesday. On thursday they sent an email saying, "You will receive a letter with instructions shortly" And I got that letter to submit the passport on Thursday.

Today, Friday my wife went and submitted the passport along with 2 photographs. According to the other Colombo applicants, it takes about 3 days to get the passport back.

We got our AOR from Mexico VO today!!!! I'm so happy, they requested my husband's (sponsor) birth certificate's photocopy and my police certificate. Something is going on with our file.
