I have 2 major transactions in my bank account due to sale of stocks. Document supporting sale of stocks should be uploaded as part of financial proof or appended to LoE? I will be talking about these transactions in LoE.

Also, is LoE supposed to be only LoE or can have documents appended to it supporting whatever we talk in LoE?

You have helped me in the past. Hope you can help again. I am a PR holder and presently living in Canada since last 6 months. I am getting married to an Indian girl in February 2019. She had applied for her PR and got PPR in November 2018. She has got her one time visa stamped on her passport.
She plans to do her landing in March 2019 after marriage. Does she need to inform CIC after our marriage in February 2019?

@legalfalcon my AOR date is 9th June 2018. I received my first gcms on 26th September and noticed eligibility is under review due to proof of funds (no negative comments though). 2nd gcms received on 2nd November and there is no change.

I have submitted proof of funds which are more than 6 times of required amount for a family of 3. Savings account itself is sufficient for meeting minimum funds.

I have crossed 6 months timeline. I am planning to to send updated POF in the last week of December.
Do you think this will expedite the processing of my application? Or this can further delay the processing?

I have got the ITA on 28th November, almost done with my documentation and ready to submit in a couple of weeks.
My reference letters have only - first name and last name
while passport has - first name+ father's name and last name
Will this be a problem?

Thank you. What you suggested make sense and probably it's more sensible. Actually, I wanted to be very honest and clear about the reason why my family is requesting an extension to stay in Canada. My wife is requesting an extension to stay so that my family can stay with me until they get a result on their sponsorship application and my child can complete her first year at school. I have submitted the sponsorship application as well as the extension to stay application mentioning those reasons. Keeping my fingers crossed!

Usually does any one write like H-1B (Not sure about it) in the status section? It will add more complication right? Anyway, i have written H-1B in status and stick to it. Sorry about my repeated asks! Have a wonderful weekend!

Usually, you are not required to write specific visa status. Just a simple two words such as work permit would also suffice. All IRCC wants to know is whether you are in legal status in Canada or not.

@legalfalcon any Idea about ottawa VO? I have the same situation, application has been approved last week and waiting for PPR.

Ottawa is way faster than any other. Rather it is the fastest VO across the globe.

After an application is approved, it may take 2-3 weeks for you to receive the PPR because the approved applications are queued up and the PPRs are released in batches.

Just give it some time. Also be mindful that this week and next week, all agencies are working with bare minimum staff.

I have a freind he got his PR in Alberta trough express entry. Now he want to move to Quebec , Following some people they told him since he can live only in the federal areas and avoid to move to quebec. While others said since he got his PR he can live anywhere. My friend is confused, any idea or clarification will help him thanks

If your friend was a FSW, and after entering Canada as a PR, he can move to any part of Canada, including QC.

I have an older passport (I got it renewed last year). My older passport has US Visa stamps and details of 1 trip to US. My current passport has no VISAs and stamps. While uploading Travel document, shall I upload older passport as well along with current passport?
All in 1 pdf?

The older passport details have not been shared any where in the application.

You should upload the old PP and the new one. Though, IRCC only requires the new one, but since you have a visa on the previous PP, upload that too.

No, this is not refusal. It is the same as you creating a profile and not getting the ITA. That does not mean refusal.

Ideally, you should have them with you. IRCC is not asking for the transcripts in a sealed envelope from the University, they are only asking for a scan copy of it.

A few questions before I submit my application

- I am availing work ex points for only current organisation (2015 - current) and have hence loaded Reference Letter, proof of employment, Pay slips from every year and last 6 months pay slips (Do these need to be attested ones or computer generated ones? I have both), Form 16 for last 3 years, ITR Acknowledgement for last 3 years. Is any thing else required to be uploaded as part of employment proof?

- For financial proof, I am uploading my Bank letter & 6 months statements + My wife's bank letter & 6 months statements + proof of high value transactions + affidavit by wife that I have access to her funds. Do I need to upload my Pay slips/ITR etc as part of financial proofs as well?

- Now my personal and address history also includes work ex in a couple of other organisations (back in 2010-2013). Is there no proof that needs to be uploaded as part of these histories? How would IRCC have proof of the cities that I have lived earlier in and organisations I have worked with?

- Is LOE supposed to be only a LOE and not any more supporting documents to be appended to it like personal history proofs? Can I append older work ex letters to this LOE?

- My medical was done on 8th December. By the likes of this I am going to get my submission done by the upcoming saturday. Would a 2 week gap cause any issue?

1. IRCC only requires a work reference letter which should be on a letter head and signed by a HR or your supervisor. If you do decide to provide additional proof, such as IT, pay stubs etc. they can be computer generated.

3. No proof needed. The addresses are required to do your BGC.

4. LoE is only to explain something that is missing or needs explanation. Only if there is an issue you need to explain it, and add additional documents if required. Also, the LoE should be no longer than 2 pages. If you can't explain something in 2 pages, its not worth explaining, or there is a big issue with your application.
