Hi @legalfalcon, I received my WES ECA as "Undergraduate certificate (one year) and bachelor's degree (four years)". Will I be able to claim points for "Two or more certificates, diplomas or degrees"? Can you please share the official web source for it as well? Thanks in advance.

You may claim CRS points for "Two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees" if your ECA shows your education is equivalent to two Canadian certificates, diplomas or degrees, and one is for a program of three years or more.

Hi @legalfalcon

I am an inland CEC applicant and recently went out of status missing the deadline to apply for BOWP.
My PR application is in process since June 2021.
I was able to apply for restoration of WP under the new public policy.

Will restoration status affect my PR application?

No, it will have to impact as long as you are in status.

PR application cannot be approved If you are not in status.

Hi @legalfalcon : I got my second set of GCMS notes on 2nd September (the first one were on 5th May, 2021). There has been hardly any change in my application status from that time till now. In my last set of notes, the eligibility was passed by a case processing agent and security and criminality had not started. It is the same situation now as well although there is one extra note in the current GCMS notes. Some of the details of this extra note are below:
Label: General
Office: OSC- Operations Support Centre
Text: Application referred to CPC-O on 2021/06/20. OSC-CSU/CR

Can you please help me in interpreting on what does the above information mean as I am unable to do so. Thanks in advance!

Application Details:
AOR:
2020/09/21
Application Type: FSW-O from India
Biometrics Completed on: 2020/11/06
Eligibility passed by case processing agent: 2020/11/09

This note is just an administrative note transferring your application to CPC-Ottawa.

It will have no impact on your immigration application.

That means do i have to be approved for a Work Permit before being approved for PR?
Your status has to be restored before the PR card be approved.

Hello @legalfalcon

I applied for my mother;s supervisa, she is in India right now and she has a valid visitor visa. She has biometric appointment on 21st sept.
I want to know if she can come to Canada after biometrics and do her medical and visa stamping while staying with me here in Canada?

Supervise can only be applied for outside Canada. You cannot apply for a super-visa if you are already in Canada.

Hello @legalfalcon

Hope you are doing well and thank you so much for answering question for the many of us.

We got our first GCMS (CEC inland) on aug 6th and had the following remarks on it :

Eligibility - passed
Security - not started
Criminality - in progress (for which they asked RCMP clearance. We had submitted our India PCC and France PCC already)
medical - passed
info sharing - complete

They asked RCMP on july 11th and we got them just last week and have submitted them to ircc.

Do you know how long it takes to get from RCMP submission to PR portal access ?

Ahhh! That’s gonna be a while as they are taking time for processing the work permits.
