No, this is not RR. This is just a completeness check note. The RR for PCCs and stat questions is for when eligibility takes place.

Do you have any outstanding PCC? and did you answer yes to any prior visa refusals?

Hi @legalfalcon

We applied a work permit with dependent application as visitor visa and both visas are approved on Jan 2019 (Visa valid till: Jan 2021). So my spouse got a dependent vistor visa UCI No: yyyyy and then later my spouse applied a Spousal open work permit on Nov 2019 and Spouse open work permit visa was rejected on Dec 2019, because my spouse forgot to mentioned his US visa refusal details in his Spousal open work permit visa application form. Here he got a different UCI number: zzzzz for spouse open work permit.

Is it possible to have a two UCI numbers (i.e: 1. Visitor Visa UCI No: yyyyy and and 2. Spouse open work permit UCI no: zzzzz) for single person ?

Recently we submitted PR application and then Medicals and Biometircs are completed and UCI numbers are also changed from CANxxx to WP UCI Number for Primary applicant, but Spouse open work permit UCI number: zzzzz is showing in spouse UCI number section for my Spouse. Actually Visitor visa UCI No: yyyyy was mentioned in our spouse application's during PR application submission.

will it give any problem or is it normal only ?
or generally spouse open work permit UCI number only will update in the PR application, even if we have two UCI numbers for single person ?
If there is more than one UCI for the same client, this is a data integrity issue. As there is no way to delete a record from GCMS once it is promoted, the UCIs must be linked by performing a household. When a household is done, the multiple IDs will still exist but they will be linked together.

Hi @legalfalcon, would you be kind enough to make a prediction on: how long it might take for people with Oct 2020 AOR, to receive PPR? Might it cross 9 months or even reach one year? Thanks.
I do not speculate. Immigration is law and everything else is a speculation or a recommendation.

As per the IRCC annual report of 2019, the average express entry time frame was 8 months and for FSW was 9 months. Given the COVID this year, the average timeframe may be even longer.

See

However, what matters is that your application is progressing well and has crossed eligibility.

To read on how an EE is processed, see https://bit.ly/36DzQgi

You can track your progress of your application after 2-3 months by sending a webform <https://bit.ly/3cWTYeF> or requesting your GCMS notes.

As reach application is as unique as you are, so not get in the rat race of timelines, instead keep a check on the progress of your own application.

@legalfalcon How application is assessed by the officer after initial eligibility asseseement by case processing agent? Many people are posting that their eligibility review is stuck since 5/6 months after RR marked by case processing agent.RR by case processing agent means the file is not picking soon by officer?

hello @legalfalcon
I need help too.
Actually i am on implied status that is i have applied for work permit extension based on pnp but later on i get invited for express entry(CEC category) due to which i had to withdraw my pnp application. I did it because pnp would take 2 years for me to get PR where as express entry Will take only 6 months or so. The question is that i know it will get rejected and then i have to apply for visitor visa to restore a legal status in Canada; Will that effect my express entry application ? And should I continue working till my permit wouldn’t get rejected or can i leave my work? And if i left my work, will that effect in any way? Please do reply at your earliest.
Would really appreciate.
Thank you.

Hi @legalfalcon, I had a discussion with you regarding an ADR my wife got for the Eye color/Height and the recent travel history in the last 18 months for myself and my spouse.
I uploaded and didn't check the profile until now. Today when I opened my profile, the Review of Additional Documents says "Not Applicable" whereas the initial profile screen where we can see the GUs etc, it still says your action is required.

What does Not applicable mean in this case?

There are multiple case agents and analysts who work on multiple files and do the initial eligibility checks and enter the notes. These files than have to be reviewed by an officer who relies on the notes to make a final determination.

Many files keep pending due to administrative delay and there is nothing much that can be done. Some offices are slower than others, also priority at the VO where you file Is matters. Currently additional resources have been allocated to family reunification, this too can be a reason.

NA, simple Mena that no further action is required from you, after you submitted the documents. So there is no request from IRCC and you do not have to do anything more.

The documents will be reviewed and processed accordingly.

As per IRCC:

If you applied for another work permit

  • You must stay in Canada and meet the conditions of your original work permit. If you applied for a work permit extension before your work permit expired, you can keep working under the same conditions as your existing permit until we decide on your application.
If you applied for a different kind of permit

  • You cannot do any of the activities allowed by the original work permit. For example, you may have come to Canada as a worker and then applied for a study permit. If so, you must stop working once your work permit expires. After that, you cannot work or study until you get a new permit.

I came here as a student; then got open work permit but since i had nothing approved before my permit get expired; i need to apply for bounded work permit. So, am i still allowed to work?
