If they count towards the PoF, you should as you do not meet the 6 months average balance requirement. Just provide the proof where the funds came from in LoE.
Thanks for the reply. In case my 6 months average balance is well above the required limit and is also mentioned in bank letter, do I still need to give proofs of cash deposits ? The current balance is just nearly the limit though

@legalfalcon sir I have another query. Do I need to explain the transactions happening to and fro my and my spouse account which are adding up to my current POF balance? I have also taken a consent letter from spouse for access to his account. The total of both of our accounts is double the required POF limit.

Usually review required for PoF is when your funds are in a different currency than CAD or USD. The officer will review it and mark it passed.

Just make sure that your declared PoF is not impacted by currency fluctuations and you have a little over it is does.
Thank you very will this effect my processing time as some say that I have to wait more than 6 months

Hi @legalfalcon Sir

Hope you're doing good.

I have a problem for which I need an expert advice from you. In my educational documents, my father name is 'Muhammad Tayyab Khan' where as in my passport, it's 'Tayyab Khan'. Currently, I am at pre eca stage and contemplating what to do with this case and would it be causing any problem during the process? Since post ITA, we have to submit our educational docs as well coupled with Passport, do you see a possibility of 'one and the same person' affivadit working in this case?

Your help would be highly appreciated.

Many thanks in advance
Absolutely, you can get a one and same person affidavit for your dad and file it with your application. Also explain it in LoE. If I am not wrong, Mohammed in your dad's name is more of a title. My apologies if I am incorrect.

Also, with the affidavit you can upload a copy of your father's passport which has is name to better authenticate the fact.

Either way, it will not have any impact on your application.

Ok sir and with it I can provide my yearly tax certificate which is given by the company is it okay? And I can mention my last year income on my letter as well which is salary plus commissions. Is it good then?
YEs. Along with the reference letter, the LoE - describing your salary as commission you can include:

1. Offer letter
2. IT returns
3. Pay stubs

Any other documents that substantiate your employment.

Hi Legalfalcon,

I have a tricky situation, like some of the other members I had the issue with accepting or declining ITA that I got on Aug 8th. So I created another profile since I couldn't even decline the ITA on my first profile, now today I received ITA on my new profile but when I checked the first profile, the ITA continue process works fine. Looks like the technical issue got resolved after IRCC team addressed my technical issues ticket.
Now I don't know which option I should pursue option1) decline the first ITA that was issued on 8th Aug and withdraw associated profile or option 2) decline the Sep 5th ITA and withdraw the associated profile? With the first option since I had the technical problems, my concern is that there may be additional problems while uploading docs or after submitting docs that could be related to the Aug 8th issue. With option 2, my concern is that it may trigger duplicate profile even after I withdraw my first profile.
Can you please help and recommend which option should I select or suggest an option better than these two?
Note: even though I lost days due to the technical issues on Aug 8th ITA, I have all the documents that need to be submitted and don't have a problem with the number of days left on my first ITA.
You can do it either way. The point here is that you cannot have more than 1 profile when you file your application. So you can go with your second profile, submit your application, and the same day you can delete your first profile.

No need to be too stressed about it.

It is you who is. The notes you are referring to say that the officer is not satisfied with the work reference, and the applicant stated that he submitted letters not signed by hr, and you join 2 and 2 to make it 4, whereas the issue could be anything ranging from NOC job duties, employer verification, issues in dates, salary etc.

Submitting documents that are in stark contrast to the ones submitted earlier, will only make issue worse.

Before just throwing something, make sure you understand the repercussions.
except in many cases the notes explicitly say 'applicant has submitted a self attested letter of experience' so we know what the issue is. once again nobody is providing incorrect information.

Hello Sir, when I said EAD - I meant that the petition for permanent residency application (green card) was denied incorrectly and later on it was quashed and MTR (motion to reopen) has been granted. So currently the petition for permanent residency application (green card) is under process.

So - I believe I do need to say YES for the statutory question where it asked for - have you ever been declined immigrant, permanent residency in Canada or any other country. Is that correct?

Because our application for permanent residency is under process - my current status in the US is PAROLEE and the document that shows my authorization to work and legally stay is the EAD (employment authorization document).

Question1: Since our EAD is expiring in december 2018 do I need to explain about the extension being filed in EAD?

Questoin 2: Do I attach EAD along with passport document or in the LOE?

Thanks again for your input
As a safety net, answer yes and describe it in LoE. Alos along with your passport, upload your EAD - employment authorization.

1. No, as previously mentioned, you only have to show your legal status on the day your file your application.

2. Both.

If you do not meet the 6 months average balance, then you will have to explain. If you meet the 6 months average balance, no need to explain, the letter from spouse will work.
