Thank you for your time and help. Do you have any idea how the PPR email is triggered for applications that are approved? From a call with CIC, my application is already approved since 3-Oct-17, it has been more than 3 weeks and there is no PPR. In contrast, a few other applications approved later already receive PPR. I wonder, does the officer have to do something to trigger this mail and if he/she forgets/ignores to do it, a mail will never be sent even though it is approved for some time?

The PPR emails are sent in batches. Also after an application is approved it has to go through a final review before the email is sent. So both these processes can take a few weeks.

Hi @legalfalcon i just noticed in mycic, the status of my submitted WP applucation changed to 'updated'. Rather i couldnt find any changes, msg or email. Later it turned back to submitted. Is it system glitch, or upcoming changes not reflected yet?

This is normal and happens when there is a movement in your file. Nothing to worry. If you are concerned about where your application is at, you can order GCMS notes.

I called the CIC agent a couple times and both times they said they couldn't view my application as it is in London Visa Office, and that I need to email London.

Is this true that they cannot view applications which have been moved to other VO's?

This is strange. The applications are electronically stored and can be viewed from anywhere, unless specifically listed as not to be disclosed by an officer, which could be due to a security issue. You can either email London VO or order GCMS. That will help you know what is going on.

Thanks good to know there's some movement, about GCMS notes, I visited your website, and found that e-GCMS would take 30-40 days, but by then hopefully my WP would be processed I am in IP2 and waiting for PPR, if it would take longer days, then surely without hesitation, would get that. anyways, I hope odds would be in my favor. Minimum time to retrieve GCMS notes is?

If your application is approved there is nothing to worry about. Since your application would have been at LVO, and the SS finished at Ottawa, it is CPC Ottawa who will make the final review. This is what your file was referred to Ottawa. The agencies which do the security only make a recommendation. The IRCC is the one which makes the final determination.

As regards the PPR, that is a great sign. CONGRATULATIONS!

If your PP is already at the LVO, raise a CSE and also send an email to CPC Ottawa - CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca

My Application Sir was processed in ottawa and still there. the first PPR was on the 31st Aug from cpc ottawa and i was just directed to my LVO for stamping. the new email is same instructions as the old one.
I rasied CSE as guided by you two days ago or should i raise another one?
I will keep you posted and thanks alot for your help.

The agent told me that she can just see that the application is "currently being worked on", meaning its not waiting for review at London, but actually being looked at.

Do they have instructions not to disclose information about an application if it is beyond Canadian borders?

I had same situation when I called cic as unable to tell me anything coz of file is at London VO.
I then sent email to London and this is what they replied:
Your application is awaiting further review and we will contact you again as soon as we are able to. In the meantime, please do not send repeat status requests to this office as we will be unable to reply to them.
Is it because of security check or eligibility check?

Yes, A11.2 = eligibility. The eligibility takes place in 2 stages. First a case analyst will review and make a recommendation. This will be seen in your notes in the last few pages. This recommendation is then reviewed by an officer and the eligibility (A11.2) is passed.

May you know why some files stay at Ottawa while some got transferred to LVO? is that for further verification or negative signals? My docs shows that "we don't need additional docs" and my files got transferred to Singapore VO.

Just wait for them to answer. But do send an email to CPC Ottawa, that is faster.

You do not need any old medical history. When you go for your medicals and your panel physician will conduct additional tests as per what is prescribed by IRCC. The most conclusive test is the chest x-ray for any active TB. For latent TB he may conduct a skin test or a blood test. But, there is nothing to worry about.
