I am hoping you are a PNP or high score candidate who is for sure expecting an ITA in the next subsequent draw. In that case, you can attend your medical and have your medical results ready. There are several OINP candidates who have taken their medical a week or few days before their ITA and have their medicals passed. So, you should be good.

If you are skeptical about a draw occurring next week, go ahead and check if there is a possibility to have your medical done next week. As per book, CIC recommends to have your medical done after ITA but going by the realistic scenario, it is okay to get it done few days before ITA.

I received my ITA on 2nd Oct. I will have to submit my documents in next 2-3 weeks.

My FBI PCC application reached on 8th Oct and another reached on 16th Oct. Given time it is taking for FBI PCC, earliest date for receiving PCC would be 20th Jan.

As I am planning to travel out of country by November end, I was thinking of submitting my documents this week itself. I read somewhere that CIC might give 60 days extension to submit FBI PCC. I may not have FBI PCC even in that 60 days timeframe. What should I do?
Should I just explain that earliest date I can receive PCC would be 20th Jan and ask to proceed with documents or just ask for extension?

In case I receive extension for 60 days, can I request another extension?

Have got 2 months of skilled work experience with XXX Services Inc in BC Province, but that Company got Bankrupted a year back. When I approached them for the experience letter, I got the letter on a YYY Financial Group company letter head with YYY Financial Group Company's website & address, which is signed as mentioned below. YYY Financial Group Company is located in ON and not in BC.

In a OINP whatsapp group, people have sent only their degree certificate without attestation and got their nominations. In the application guide, you will NOT see any reference to degree certificate for foreign degrees. Unfortunately, the checklist does (application guide and checklist don't sync). It is fine if you just submit a copy of the degree certificate.

How can your old passport still be valid? It's illegal to hold 2 valid passports at the same time. If your CURRENT passport has been valid for less than 2 years from the date of PT, then you MUST submit photocopies of ALL the pages of your current AND old passport. Also, your current passport MUST be valid for 2 more years.

In the intent/reasons to settle letter they are asking, just don't plainly write "I intend to...". Give them solid reasons as yo why you want to settle down in Ontario and how you are going to do it. Do some research about the province and include those details. That will make your application solid. What job offer and experience? If you have Canadian work experience, it is prudent that you mention all possible details.

Yes, you can mention your friends and attach some proof (like Driving License).

We have our family friend(PR Holders) from our hometown here in ON. Is it ok to mention them?

Of course. Again, be sure to attach some proof for your claim.

This is not a mandatory document but I recommend you add it to your application package. Its better if you add it right now. Otherwise, there might be an additional doc request and you have to send them that anyway. Payslips too.

Yes. If that experience letter mentions all the details requested, you are good to go.

Well, about this I am not sure. If your employment was in Ontario, then you can submit. You can get an opinion about this from other members.

One question: I'm a pnp nominant, waiting for the ITA. In my EE profile I mentioned that my spouse worked and has a uni degree. What if I remove those declarations and answer 'no' to questions like 'Does you spouse have a uni degree/work?' so after the ITA I wouldn't be prompted to submit proof of all his credentials. Would it be misinterpretation?

We will certainly fill in everything under his 'personal history' but wouldn't want to bother with all the reference letters etc since I'm not claiming points for his education /work experience.

Also, medicals are done with non-ede worker for the whole family. Is it ok?

And the last one: do we have to submit only bio page of the passport or should we include all the visas and stamps as well? For Australia they requested certified copy of the passport bio page -would it be alright if I submit that?

For OOPNP, the application guide asks for copies of work contracts. For my job, I don't have an actual contract, but I have an offer letter which states the salary, employment conditions, benefits, etc. Will offer letter be accepted as a substitute for work contract?

Work contract is not a mandatory document. Yes you can submit your offer letter.

It won't be misrepresentation. Doesn't matter if you remove these details from the profile or retain them in the profile and simply provide whatever documents you have - University degree without the ECA for education, job offer letter for work experience - because the officer won't allot you any points for these sections in both the cases. And you aren't claiming those points either. Keep it in or remove it, your call.

I am trying to apply ExpressEntry and currently working in Quebec since 2014 intended to move to Ontario. When I filled in my ExpressEntry profile under valid Canadian job offer sesion I mentioned my quebec job offer and Limia details, however my score for the job offer part still 0, I am puzzled as if I am doing anything wrong or in general job offer from quebec (or one provincial job offer to other) is not considered valid? I still have LIMIA approval from federal it is called different here in quebec.

Kindly advise.

Probably because Quebec isn't tagging along with EE. So a job offer in Quebec wouldn't qualify you for those points under EE.

Asivad, FSW criteria mention that the work experience has to be within the last 10 years. What about for CRS? I don't think it's a criterion, is it?

Very skeptical about getting a 2nd extension, hasn't been reported on the forum yet.

Recommend that you submit your application on the 59th day with an LOE and evidence of having applied for FBI PCC and hopefully there will be Christmas/year end processing delay at CIC's end which will give you some more breathing space on this front.

I have a question related to a express entry process, I got into the platform and submitted my profile to validate how many points my qualifications and general status would get. I scored 432 points, my plan was to start looking for a job offer on the job bank platform cause I didn't expect to get an invitation since the pool is drawing candidates that have scored at least 450 to 480 points (average). My situation is that I recently received a PT notification of interest from Ontario to OINP for nomination under the Human Capital Priorities Stream (which I didn’t expect at all), I wasn’t awared of this option and now I’m trying to meet the requirements so I can get the chance to apply.

My main issue with this process is the settlement funds required to demonstrate I have the amount of money needed to settle for a period of time in Canada. At the moment I don’t have the amount of money saved on one of my bank accounts ($11,931 canadian dollars) but my brother has it as a result of a loan he recently got (he got the money transferred as liquid funds to his bank account recently and it’s totally disposable for any desired purpose). The thing is he spontaneously offered to delay his plans with this money and give it to me as a gift so I can take this opportunity an migrate to Canada, therefore this money won’t need to be returned to him , ever, although he’s going to be paying installments from the loan by himself (he is totally fine with it and able to do it).

The questions is, if I suddenly deposit this sum of money on my bank account for POF and get a gift deed, Affidavit, net-worth certificate and LOE with my brother stating that from that moment on that money it’s going to be mine and wont have to return it and he’s not affected negatively by giving it away… would that be valid enough to submit my application?. What worries me is the case that they wouldn’t allow me to use money that comes form a loan even thought its not mine and I won’t have to pay it.

I don’t want to incur in a case of misrepresentation as its not my intention, and I would ask my brother to specify on the gift deed and affidavit that the source of the money is a loan under his name (not past savings), that he’s going to use that money to help me and that he doesn’t want it in return. This way I won’t be hiding any information at all.

Please let me know if this is a good way of tackling my situation and any further suggestion is more than welcome.

It doesn't matter where your brother got the monies from. Treat it as a gift from them and get the documents in place to prove that you don't have to return these monies to them at any point in time. Do not mention the 'loan' angle anywhere on the affidavit or LOE - that will get your application refused.
