Hi Asivad, I've been in Canada continuously since 2010. I only went back to my country for a 3-week visit back in 2011 and another 3-week travel trip to US in 2014. Do I still need to get a police certificate again from my country and the US? I already obtained and submitted a police certificate when I applied for my Study Permit from my country back in 2009.

Perfect Asivad Anac,

I'll only present proof of the transfer from his account to mine, the gift deed, the affidavit and my account's 6 month statement with the funds needed.

That'll do just fine right?

Hi Asivad,

I am waiting for the next ITA. I am currently at 478 points. I was wondering, which documents do you recommend I should collect prior to the ITA? The idea is to not delay an application. I don´t know which are the documents are often hard to come by, though it will depend on the main applicant´s situation.

All the best!
Work reference letter(s) and PCC(s) for all countries that you don't stay in right now but have lived in for 6 months or more in a row since turning 18 are the usual set of documents that cause delays.

Whew, my heart started racing when I saw the previous version :D

Could you please tell me if the following is proof enough:

1) official letter that conveys account movements over the 3 months of its existence & a letter showing the current balance.
The exhaustive list of the movements is: +82 USD (Jul24), +1,000 USD (Aug28), +10,700 USD (Oct19), the latter being on the same day as the gift affidavit conclusion.

2) gift affidavit (my mom being the donor of most of the funds in my account), the money was given in cash, after which I converted it to USD and put it into my account

3) various apartment cost estimates, etc. showing I own property worth of something (not yet sold, however).

I'm kinda worried because I'm not including my salary account (it's in another bank) or the "list of all outstanding debts" (I don't have any debts), on top of that, the date the account was opened is not stated anywhere.
The real challenge would be that the gift was in cash. Hopefully the affidavit would be enough to convince the officer. Estimates of property worth might not add anything to the POF situation.

Ask the bank to clearly mention account opening date on their letter or you should add an LOE highlighting this missing detail.

You don't need a fresh PCC from your home country or US.

Dear Asivad,

once again your help needed.

I did not receive the hard copy of WES report. I have only PDF file. Will it be enough to upload it after receiving ITA?

Hi Asivad,

I submitted my application Nov 5, received AOR same day, processing started Nov 6, and medicals updated to Passed Nov 6.

Please do you have an idea of the current processing times? I learnt some October applications were processed quite fast.

Thank you.

Hi Asivad,

In proof or relationship section what document do I have to upload..?

there is a statement on CIC website:

Proof of the relationship of the applicant or the spouse or common-law partner to the family member must also be provided through documents such as a birth certificate, an official document naming the applicant as a parent, a copy of the inside back cover of the relative’s passport showing the relative’s parents.

My aunt (mother's sister) is Canadian Citizen. I am about to upload her birth certificate and my mother's marriage certificate (as my mother's birth certificate is not in original) to show their common parents. Do i have to upload my birth certificate too, to show my mother's name on it?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

This is a very basic question.

For uploading documents, should we upload it as one big PDF for every section containing all pages for documents ? or should we upload it as a zip file with multiple documents?

They have not mentioned it anywhere what is the file format.

This reference is pasted from official CIC website:

What file formats can I upload to MyCIC?
The file formats you can upload are .tiff, .jpg, .doc, .docx and .pdf. You can’t upload any other file format.

below is the website link where I found above reference:

Asivad,

I have created my profile without ECA and a valid job offer with LIMIA, however the CIC profile said I am elegible for CEC category. I am wondering at any point in future I would still need to provide a eca for my and spouse degree mentioned in the profile.

Thanks,

I read this from CIC portal, so if I dont need the points for the Education is it safe to assume I wouldnt need one for CEC or it would still need to be submitted later during the documents submission time for the verification ?

Education
There is no education requirement for Canadian Experience Class. But, if you want to earn points for your education under Express Entry, you either need:

a Canadian secondary (high school) or post-secondary certificate, diploma or degree,
OR

a completed foreign credential, and
an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) report from an agency approved by CIC. [The report must show your foreign education is equal to a completed Canadian secondary (high school) or post-secondary certificate, diploma or degree.]

Hi Asivad Anac and any other experts,
Sorry to post this again, since my topic got no attention, i have to try again here, especially because i Urgently need your Help!
I use Sign-in partner to login to mycic account. But recently my bank card replaced, so the card number changed as well. When i enter the new card info, the cic system does not allow me to get into my previous cic account, but only lead me to create a new one.
However, it is a purely new account, i can not see any previous application including my ee appication. I contacted cic and follow their instruction to request an Case Specific Enquiry, they replied me as below:

Quote:

We compared it with our system and found: an application that matches the information you entered.

But there is only one button that available show me my application, i click on it, then there is a new page say:

Our system is currently unavailable. Please try again later.

Keep trying for several times, but always show the above message. And the show me my application shows in grey color as well. Please help! anyone face this situation before. How can i solve it? Do I have to create a whole new ee profile, will that be illegal since it means i have 2 ee profile in the system.

Really frustrated right now...
