If you have valid reference letters and supporting documentation to back up the calculations, no harm in waiting it out for a 'regular' ITA. You'll get it at 483, the cutoff is unlikely to permanently climb to those levels even for the short term.

No harm in applying for an PNP as well, you can always withdraw that application as soon as you get an ITA.
Thanks a lot Asivad.

During 8-May-2015 to 31-Jul-2015, I also worked on two jobs (1 job with T4 and another job without T4 as contract). I need some help on CASE2.

CASE1 : Job1 : Company A
Status: Part time
Duration : 8-May-2015 to 08-Aug-2015
Total weeks: 13 weeks and 1 day (As you mentioned 8 weeks of full time...........................................................................)
Hours/week : 18 hrs
Total hours : 234
T4 : YES
Job2: Company B
Status : Full time
Duration : 17-Aug-2015 to 04-July-2016
Total weeks : 47 weeks
Hours/week : 37.5
Total hours : 47*30hrs = 1410hrs
T4 : YES

CASE2 :Job1: Company C (5 months Personal Services Contract )
Duration : 01-Mar-2015 to 31-July-2015.
Total weeks : 12 weeks (But PGWP issued on 8-May-2015. So I considered total weeks only from 8-May-2015 to 31-July-2015).
Hours/week : 37.5
Total hours : (12*30hrs=360)
T4 : NO (Supervisor asked me to file the tax by myself)
Job2: Company B
Status : Full time
Duration : 17-Aug-2015 to 23-May-2016
Total weeks : 40 weeks
Hours/week : 37.5
Total hours : 40*30hrs = 1200hrs
T4 : YES

In my previous discussions, I detailed about CASE1. The below queries are for CASE2.
1) Total weeks for CASE2 is (12 weeks from job1 + 40 weeks from job2 = 52 weeks) and (360 hrs from job1 + 1200 hrs from job2 =1560hrs). In this scenario, I have wait till 23-MAY-2016 to complete my one year.
2) Can I considered the contract job in CASE2 (job1) for 1 year CEC?
3) Is the contract job in CASE2 (job1) considered as self-employed or not?
-They didn't deduct tax for this job. They asked me to file tax by myself.
-I found this line in my contract "Contractor is not an employee in receipt of a pension. Work will be done off-site." But I worked onsite with client for 37.5 hours.
-Each and every month, I filled in the number of hours worked to get paid.
4) I have seen somewhere here in this forum, that self-employed job is not considered for CEC.

AFAIK, banks will NOT disclose such information to a third party without your written consent. Having said that, you might be asked to submit updated documents from the bank proving you still have those funds (rare but cannot ignore the possibility). If this happens and you don't have the funds, then, it would definitely raise a red flag.
Thanks Raj for your response! Really appreciate it! Arranging the funds wouldn't be an issue as I can still arrange those funds... anyways thats a relief to know!

I have query regarding work experience.I received roles and responsibilities letter from my employer on company letterhead but with digital signature. This was in July'2014. After that my company refused to give updated letter (I have e-mail proof). I have a letter from my Manager with latest time stamp mentioning same roles and responsibilities. I am planing to submit both of these for work experience proof along with Bona-fide letter from my employer and refusal e-mail. Will this work, is there any particular format for reference letter, please advice.
FYI.. Bona-fide letter does not contain the words worked for 40 hours so included a line in reference from my Manager and added a screen shot of my company time-sheet portal. This worked for OINP, will the same work for CIC

Hi Asivad Anac,

I have come across a question when filling out the Work History in EE profile creation.

It asks me my primary occupation, and "Date XXX first became qualified to practice in this occupation"

And on the IRCC website it says "If the "primary occupation" is:
a qualified trade (four-digit code begins with 632, 633, 72, 73, 82, 92), this is the date they became qualified to practice on their own in Canada. (For example, when they moved from apprentice to being a licensed tradesperson.)
any other job, this is the date they first obtained the minimum education or training stated in the NOC description. (Note: if the NOC only states high school, this is the date they graduated.)"

So my primary occupation is 1241 Admin Assistant, according to the IRCC website for NOC 1241, the requirement is "Employment requirements

Completion of secondary school is usually required.
Completion of a one- or two-year college or other program for administrative assistants or secretaries
or
Previous clerical experience is required."

so what date should I put for the question? I didnt have any one or two year college or other program for admin assistant or secretaries. Instead I have a BA in English and Master of Education. But I do have previous clerical experience, which is why i got hired for my primary 1241 position.

Should I put the date I graduated form high school? or the date I started this 1241 position? Or sth else?

Thank you in advance!!! :-*

Hi Asivad and seniors,
Quick question. I just received my fbi pcc. The address which I gave is a mailing address I used before. I am basically using this address for documenrs because it is safer for me as no one would touch my mail. I never lived there, thats my grandparents place.
However it was printed on the pcc and I wonder if this is going to be a problem. .

There isnt anything to be done regarding this but anyway if you have thoughts or suggetions how to be on the safe side with this please let me know.
My FBI PCC was sent to a US address (my friend's address). The US address is mentioned in my US PCC. So the same issue here.

hello Asivad Sir
i have a question regarding travel history..as i was in USA for 5 months and 15 days,so is dis problem if i dont mention dis in address history and just mention in personal history and travel history.actually i was not staying at one address in USA.as i was on tourism ,so i was travelling in different states.???so is it enough to mention my USA trip in travel history and personal activities and skip in address history?
You'll still have to provide 1 address for the time you were inside US.

Hi Asivad,
I have a very unusual question. I hope maybe you can help me. I simply don't know what to do.

I submitted my PR application on January 2, 2016. Prior to that I received a positive LMIA for NOC 4211 (for legal assistant) to support my PR application. As you may know, ESDC office uses NOC 2006.

While I was applying for PR under EE, I put the same NOC trying to be consistent with my LMIA (which was 4211). However, legal assistants have been assigned a new NOC code in NOC 2011 – 1242.

When I realized that I put NOC code from 2006, I was trying to send a case specific enquiry with an explanation why I put the NOC code 2006 instead of 2011. I did not receive any reply. In the meantime, I received my notes and it looks like it went through first review and my file was transferred to Ottawa. I contacted CPC Ottawa through email and asked them to add my explanation to the file which they did. I got a confirmation one day later, that it is attached and the officer will review it soon.

The problem is: my LMIA (which was only for EE/ PR support) is valid until May 7, 2016. I don’t know if I should keep this application and hope there will be an officer who understands the situation or should I withdraw this one and apply again (get an invitation and submit the PR application) before the expiration of LMIA.

Is there anything that I can do?

Everything else except that NOC code is ok, my reference letters, permanent offer of employment etc.

I went through my notes and it looks like an officer who did the first preliminary review, put a note that “appears to meet the criteria for FSW”. I know it’s just preliminary and doesn’t mean they will approve it. But honestly, I don’t know what to do. Is it better not to risk and withdraw this application and submit another one before my LMIA expires or sit tight and wait for answer to this one?

I would be grateful for your thoughts or advice.

Does appear to veer towards being self-employed. They mention you as a contractor not an employee so that's fairly indicative.

Sounds fine. Make sure you explain any 'suspiciously' large credit transactions.
