Thanks a lot Asivad.Asivad Anac said:If you have valid reference letters and supporting documentation to back up the calculations, no harm in waiting it out for a 'regular' ITA. You'll get it at 483, the cutoff is unlikely to permanently climb to those levels even for the short term.
No harm in applying for an PNP as well, you can always withdraw that application as soon as you get an ITA.
During 8-May-2015 to 31-Jul-2015, I also worked on two jobs (1 job with T4 and another job without T4 as contract). I need some help on CASE2.
CASE1 : | Job1 : Company A Status: Part time Duration : 8-May-2015 to 08-Aug-2015 Total weeks: 13 weeks and 1 day (As you mentioned 8 weeks of full time...........................................................................) Hours/week : 18 hrs Total hours : 234 T4 : YES | Job2: Company B Status : Full time Duration : 17-Aug-2015 to 04-July-2016 Total weeks : 47 weeks Hours/week : 37.5 Total hours : 47*30hrs = 1410hrs T4 : YES |
CASE2 : | Job1: Company C (5 months Personal Services Contract ) Duration : 01-Mar-2015 to 31-July-2015. Total weeks : 12 weeks (But PGWP issued on 8-May-2015. So I considered total weeks only from 8-May-2015 to 31-July-2015). Hours/week : 37.5 Total hours : (12*30hrs=360) T4 : NO (Supervisor asked me to file the tax by myself) | Job2: Company B Status : Full time Duration : 17-Aug-2015 to 23-May-2016 Total weeks : 40 weeks Hours/week : 37.5 Total hours : 40*30hrs = 1200hrs T4 : YES |
In my previous discussions, I detailed about CASE1. The below queries are for CASE2.
1) Total weeks for CASE2 is (12 weeks from job1 + 40 weeks from job2 = 52 weeks) and (360 hrs from job1 + 1200 hrs from job2 =1560hrs). In this scenario, I have wait till 23-MAY-2016 to complete my one year.
2) Can I considered the contract job in CASE2 (job1) for 1 year CEC?
3) Is the contract job in CASE2 (job1) considered as self-employed or not?
-They didn't deduct tax for this job. They asked me to file tax by myself.
-I found this line in my contract "Contractor is not an employee in receipt of a pension. Work will be done off-site." But I worked onsite with client for 37.5 hours.
-Each and every month, I filled in the number of hours worked to get paid.
4) I have seen somewhere here in this forum, that self-employed job is not considered for CEC.
