Hi Asivad Anac,

I have come across a question when filling out the Work History in EE profile creation.

It asks me my primary occupation, and "Date XXX first became qualified to practice in this occupation"

And on the IRCC website it says "If the "primary occupation" is:
a qualified trade (four-digit code begins with 632, 633, 72, 73, 82, 92), this is the date they became qualified to practice on their own in Canada. (For example, when they moved from apprentice to being a licensed tradesperson.)
any other job, this is the date they first obtained the minimum education or training stated in the NOC description. (Note: if the NOC only states high school, this is the date they graduated.)"

So my primary occupation is 1241 Admin Assistant, according to the IRCC website for NOC 1241, the requirement is "Employment requirements

Completion of secondary school is usually required.
Completion of a one- or two-year college or other program for administrative assistants or secretaries
or
Previous clerical experience is required."

so what date should I put for the question? I didnt have any one or two year college or other program for admin assistant or secretaries. Instead I have a BA in English and Master of Education. But I do have previous clerical experience, which is why i got hired for my primary 1241 position.

Should I put the date I graduated form high school? or the date I started this 1241 position? Or sth else?

To provide proof of intention to reside at province of nomination.
I'm inland pnp applicant, aor 18/1/2016
Currently live in other province than nominated.
I uploaded my settlement plan, how long does it take from that request to ppr ?

but I imagine if i only graduated from high school, my organization would not have hired me. They hired me because of my previous clerical experience, which ended in the same month as I started my 1241 position. So can i put the start date of my 1241 position instead?

This is just an administrative detail in your case so input whatever you're comfortable with here. This particular data field would be critical if you were in a professional occupation that requires regulation/licensing (doctor/lawyer etc) but, for the majority of NOCs, this is a minor detail.

Hi Asivad, I have a question for my friend regarding his application for nomination from Ontario, he is too worried about it, I hope you can help him take the correct decision or stay calm.

He applied to Ontario OINP program (seeking provincial nomination), everything is fine in his application to Ontario province. But he only did not add N/A (not applicable) to the fields which does not apply to him and he left it blank.

For example, Travel history to Canada: He did not ever traveled to Canada, so he left it blank and forgot to write N/A.

He is worried as he found out that the instruction clearly states that N/A should be written and application could be returned if incomplete. ( I do not have the exact wording of that).

Is that a problem that can lead to a return of application? should he take any action ?

Your advice is much appreciated.

I need your urgent help. Could you please tell me after submitting the profile for Permanent residency when we click our earlier check status and messages column , not for permanent residency the one which we have from the time of express entry profile , does it says only application status - open and all other columns like job bank registeration, ITA status etc etc blank ? In my profile it is showing like that and also express entry profile effective date and expiry date blank?

My job bank profile expired today and I got an email , I followed the steps and if I login now it says active. There was also a column to update express entry information when I tried that with my profile number and previous validation code it was not accepting them, may be I do not require to update as it is the same profile not the new one. After that I checked and found all these columns blank, so I am worried that something happened to my profile or is it normally blank after you submit your application. If it is not normal, what should I do?
Anyone who knows about it please help.Thanks.

Check with rajkamalmohanram - he is more familiar with the procedural aspects of OINP application.

Relax!

Job Bank is a formality only required to activate your EE profile - it is irrelevant to the rest of the process. Ignore the data fields in your EE form - that is locked when you get an ITA and some fields are probably 'blanked' out - and focus on the post ITA application status updates.

Hi Asivad - I have question regarding my PPR request and passport submission.
I had applied for Canadian PR via express entry with PNP on Nov 2015 during which my mailing address was Toronto.
I had to travel back to India in March and i had submitted CSE informing the address change before my travel.

I got the PPR request on March 18th 2016 with my Indian Bangalore mailing address . Although in the mail they indicated to send mail to CPC Ottawa if the mailing address is other than US/Canada without sending mail to them i submitted my Passport with other documents to VFS office here in Bangalore on 21st March 2016. I haven't received my stamped passport as of April 12th...is this delay because i did not sent out the mail to CPC ottawa indicating the address change?? before submitting the passport. Please suggest

Now since i believe the delay is becoz of address change i have sent out the mail to CPC-Ottawa (Email id from PPR mail) and also to New-Delhi Immigration explaining my situation with the PPR mail as attachment ,hopefully they will consider it. Also i visited VFS office here in Bangalore and submitted the letter to High Commission of Canada- New Delhi to consider my address change and dispatch my stamped passports. VFS will add this letter as additional document to my application and will be sending to them

Apparently status in myCIC still shows Review of Eligibility in progress...hopefully that is not an issue. Please let me know if i can do anything else to get my stamped passports with COPR as i am planning to travel back ASAP

I can track only the vfs status online and currently it shows 'Its being processed in New Delhi' which is same from past 3 weeks.

Please suggest

HI Asivad,

I submitted my e-APR on 07th April 2016 and I received request for additional documents (Schedule A Form- IMM5669E) from both applicants on 13th April 2016 and asked to provide detailed history from April 2006 to PRESENT.

I don't understand why such document has been requested from me as I left no gaps & never my VISA was rejected.

Can someone please help me understanding that what I filled incorrectly/ missed ion e-APR due to which Schedule A form has been requested from both the applicant?
