if the status is " you have passed your medical", does that mean the visa is approved? and how long does it take to get passport request after medical passed?

Yes, there were no issue found in medical results. It is really hard to tell when you will going to get a passport request, perhaps within two weeks.

I guess it takes time for next phase of application after Passed Medical. We actually got our passport and medical request on the same day. After that we sent the passport and got done with our medical within a week. Medical status was changed to Passed 2 wekeks ago but we havent gotten our passports back still. They have our passports for a month now.

I think we applied around the same time. I applied feb 8th..waiitng for PPR

I remember that your father got the medical and passport request on the same day. We got both requests on same day as well. So can you please share your timeline as we are still waiting for the passport. My timeline is:

Received Medical & PPR: February 24
Passport Sent: February 27
Medical submitted: March 06
Medical status changed to passed: March 13th
Still waiting for passports

Also, your waiting for your mother's PPr. When was her medical status changed to PASsed?

Still waiting on Passport Requests for both my parents too!

Both have done their medical on 2nd March and Changed to Passed on 6th March.

My parents applied for super visa paper application on 09 december 2016. It is second time they are applying for it. I have not received any correspondance from them untill now. I applied for GCMS notes and got to know that they sent out a medical request on 29 december but we for some reason did not receive it. Now I have the IME number of my father to go for his medical. It shows up with the GCMS notes but i dont have my moms IME. I have emailed the abu dhabi office as the file has beeen transferred over there. I have not received any reply from them. its been over two weeks
Any suggestions ??

I think you should involve your local MP and ask them to correspond on your behalf. Your local MP contact will be very helpful and i have personally experienced that CIC responds to them very quickly.

Did not apply online. it is a paper based application. I created an online account but was not able to link the application at the start. However after i received the GCMS notes, I was able to link the paper application to my cic account. Online status also shows medical request has been sent. its been almost 5 months now.

Received Medical & PPR: February 24
Passport Sent: February 27
Medical submitted: March 06
Medical status changed to passed: March 13
Status shown as Approved and passports dispatched: April 05
