All assessments were ok. general comments that applicant was issued super visa before. re applying after passport expiry and OK to issue meds.

So they do conduct a preliminary check to see if the applicant is even eligible and can wait in the queue for a final decision.

Which also makes sense why rejections are usually sent out very fast, within the first couple of weeks.

Good thing is it most probably is just a formality in your case, just the fact that you have to wait for your turn.

Hello Guys.

Its good to be on this forum after almost 2 years. This is a wonderful forum and really helped me a lot during my own immigration process.

Right now, I am intending to apply for super visa of parents from Pakistan. Any one here who has applied or applying? Please share your experiences.

Plus if some one can guide:

1. Do we need to send a cover letter with application from parents side?
2. What kind of financial proof is acceptable and is there any minimum requirement?
3. What is the effective and best mode to apply. Online or VFS?
4. Any other advise please.

my parents medical status changed to "medical passed" on March 20th and I haven't heard since then.

checked myCic account today and its still showing "application is in progress" but when I click on the small question mark help button besides it, it says "we have reached a final decision. we will notify you of next steps if your application has been approved and will send you a rejection letter if it is rejected."

what does this mean? anyone?

The "help" button is just a descriptive text of possible next steps. Not necessarily the step your application is in. So your application is exactly what status shows "In Progress". You are just 20 days into the process. Pakistan is around 90 days as of today. Unless you get lucky, you still have a long wait period ahead.

got medical request
Medical changed to passed : March 20th.

its been a month since the status changed to "medical passed". should I be ordering GCMS notes?! worried!

My parents did there medical about 10 days ago. We received an email from them with the medical request after all that hassle. (5 month delay because we didnt receive medical request before where as the notes said they sent it out)
Medical status changed to Passed today.
How much time does it roughly take from medicals passed to receiving passports back. We applied by mail (paper based application)

I have 2 questions for super visa.

1. For proof of income, is it mandatory to have a permanent role or some one working on contract is fine. I work on contract and thinking to submit my pay stubs and accountant letter as proof.along with bank statement.

2. How important it is to show property or physical assets in parents name?

I think its only take 2-3 weeks to get ur pp back after medical done,
Can u please tell me how long it took to get medical request, I applied on March 22, 2017 don't know when will get medical request for my parents,
