Hi,

Has anyone applied or got a 10 year multiple super visa? Pakistani Authorities are now issuing 10 year passport.

Thanks for the reply. I am trying to be positive about "active process" phrase. They did not even bother to mention that they have received the medical results or not.

My mom did a bunch of other tests (apart from routine ones) on the day of medical exam. She did ECG, HbA1c (for diabetic patients), Urine test. She is diabetic and hypertensive but both her sugar and blood pressure are under control. I keep on thinking that they might ask her to go for another medical.

I don't know what to expect? I hope both of our moms get the visa soon. My mom has to book the ticket as soon as possible.

They exactly asked for the same additional tests from my father too...my mother died 5 years ago and my father is alone there. so lets hope for the best for our parent.
Send an email to mhdislamabad@iom.int. they will let you know the exact date when they sent the medical and if they have any request for additional medicals.

I have sent an email to IOM at ISB to check for any second medical test. Though I did it many weeks back and they gave me the exact date and the DHL tracking number. Lets hope for the best. It is sad to know about your mother. My father has passed away five years back too.

Sorry I just read your message. Yes you can ask all possible help from me. You are always welcome

Documents Required by You:

You have to send the copies of your:
citizenship certificate
Canadian passport
Medical Insurance Certificate for both of your parents (one for each)
Scanned pay slips of medical certificates
your bank statement to show that you can support them
your birth certificate to show your relationship with your parents

Documents filled by your parents:
Super visa main application form
family form
12 pics for each
their passports
document check list

That is all for documents. Now you have to courier the document to Canadian High Commission in ISL Pakistan.
All the supporting documents by you that mentioned in the 1st-above list.
4-pics for each
Main Super Visa Application Form
Family Form
Original Passports of parents
Document check list form

Furthermore, you have to deposit the application fee in Canadian High Commission Account and that is $150.
You also need to add the copy of that deposited fee with the documents. Now you can send your file to Canadian High Commission ISL Lahore.

If everything is smooth, after some time, you will get an email from them with the attached medical certificate. You then have to take the appointment for medical from there office in PAK. The one I know is in LHR Barkat Market. You need to bring the photocopies of your passport there to prove your identity, the printout of that email that you received from Canadian High Commission and the printout of that medical form as well and 3 pics for each. After the medical, they will automatically send the medical report to Canadian High Commission within 8 - 10 working days if your medical is all perfect and soon after it, you will get the courier with the passports (Stamped Visa Passport )

Processing fees must be paid when the application is submitted. The payment (bank draft in Canadian Dollars or green copy of receipt of cash payment) must be attached to the application form.

Temporary Resident Visa: Individual - multiple entry 150 CAD 10500 Rs

I just visited Standard Chartered Bank in Lahore. Asked them that I want to submit application fee to Canadian High Commission for my visa application. They already had a special deposit slip for that. Name caption "Canadian High Commission Islamabad" and the Account number was already printed on that slip. So that was how i submitted my fee for super visa application.

Time Line:-

Apply Visa form:- 05th Nov 2012
Medical Request :- 17th dec 2012
Second Medical for my mother :- 10th Feb 2013
Got passport with Visa:- 13th March 2013



Now my next question is even though this PG1 category visa which is not a normal visit visa(i believe). So my parents bring return tickets at the time of entry, because In Pakistan the maximun return ticket you get for 8 or 9 months....

Is anyone have any experiences at the time of entry? please share

Rizwan they only need to buy a one side ticket. There is no need to buy the return one. I did the same for my mom. No issues in that

Opzz... Yes you are right.
It is around 15000 Rs.

And you have to send the documents via TCS. Avoid the other one. TCS is recommended.
