Do they email you the medical center place and times? And do you have to make appoitment first or you can just go and get the medical done right away?

My mom and dad medical done on upfront.
But they will email you for medical if they need it.

That's great. My parents and sister gave their biometrics on the 19th of June. So far on their online application it says "You do not need to provide a medical". Is this going to change? (On their application it says they will be in Canada for only a month, does this have to do with anything?)

How long is the medical request valid for? Like do they get a month to finish their medical?

you will get medical request might be in first week of july. for your sister visitor visa i dont think so that she need to go for medical.

Did you get medical email from cic. And you can call them and take appointment may be they give you next week appointment. For more information about the medical center and contact number just click below link.

Medical Request done on 12/05/2017.
Medical Done on 18/05/2017.
Since then there's no answer yet.
Can somebody tell guide that how long does it usually take for an paper based application?

I thing you need to call cic and they help you to link to your file to your Account. Mostly cic not take that much a time to finalize a file. May be cic made a decision on your file but your file is not link to your account. So firts you call cic and they may be help you to link your file. Good luck
